Illuminating and comforting...

Illuminating and comforting, this book explains so much about how procrastination works that it eliminates some of the pain associated with delay and putting things off. It does not stop there. The book offers strategies for overcoming procrastination. I would not be able to use all of the suggestions. Who can use all of the suggestions of ANY book of advice? I listened to this book. I liked it so much that I want to read it in its entirety on my Kindle app. Highly recommended for my fellow cunctators (procrastinators).

Life changer ...

I am about halfway through this book. The first half goes into great detail explaining why people like us procrastinate and how complex the defense-mechanism actually is. The second half is going into strategies for overcoming procrastination, which is why I wanted to purchase the book. Already, it has made me come to some bug realizations about myself and my daily actions. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with this damaging issue.

Excellent, Invaluable Resource...

This has to be the best book on managing your time I've ever read. It's not just tips and time management, it helps you understand what you're doing and why, getting to the source of the problem so you're more self-aware during the act. As any procrastinator knows, time management is not the real problem, not entirely. It helps you target the ways you procrastinate and different types of procrastinators, from those who are perfectionists to those who passive-aggressively procrastinate to feel like they have more control over their time. I read this as a companion book to The Now Habit by Neil Fiore a few months ago, and in combination I'm finally getting a handle on managing all the things I want to do. I've revisited my notes again and again and am using the strategies that work for me daily.

The Best Book !!!

This book has helped me to end up a fair essayist to an author my educators acclaim and I don't turn in late papers any longer. I've perused a great deal of books about stalling and intellectual treatment, however this is the one that helped me. It resembles having ten sessions of treatment.

Nice One!!!

I have been so, so, so much more productive the last few months. I was trying to figure out why and it donned on me it was this book! For the first time in my life, I find myself stopping to see why I'm procrastinating on something. It may not sound like a big thing but that one act of figuring out what it is that is preventing me from doing what I need/want to do enables me to actually do it!

Informative Book!!!

Procrastination is a big problem for most of us. In one psychology study over 70 percent of college students identified themselves as procrastinators. Other studies have show that procrastinators tend not only to be less happy, but also to have more stress, less sound sleep, and an impaired immune system.

Great Listen.

One of the bad habits that I am trying to break is procrastination. I am the classic “start a project and not see it to completion” kind of person. I want to change the way I handle projects and tasks in my everyday life.

Great Book.!!!

The advice offered in the book is practical, sensible, and written in such a way that you can pick and choose which habit you want to try to cultivate first. Plus, the author points out that the process takes time, and that if you slip, thats fine just keep working on trying to be better than before.

A complex problem defined in a simple way

The authors have provided techniques and examples on how to manage or overcome procrastination on many levels. From the generic to clinically diagnosed causes, the topic of procrastination, as they explain, is more complex and more intricate then first thought. A fantastic read and helpful information to manage, if not overcome procrastination.
