Poor narration

Not a fan of the narrator. Did not enjoy his dictation, found it to be dissonant and hard to listen to.

Mind blowing!!!!

Here we go again! Audiobook this time!!

I LOVE this second book in the series!!! It was my favorite the first time around and I think it will be my favorite the second time around, too. It’s been three years since I first read the series and so have forgot much about all the twist and turn in this one—not only the political ones, but the emotional ones, too!!

These two men wreck me!! They are both so imperfect, both full of secrets (although only one truly has secrets). I want them to be honest with each other, but then the story would fall apart. The alliance wouldn’t work. The sweet, wretched tension would be gone, and the Regent would win.

So now on to the last one in the trilogy!!

Better than the first.

Much more plot happening, and I mea that in a good way. Happy to see the characters finally start developing beyond the mostly stagnant characters they were in the first one.

Wow

This book gets better and better. I love how their relationship builds. I can’t wait for the final book! Stephen Bel Davies did an excellent job at narrating!!

Little different from first

It's ok but it's a slow start. Middle part can come and go. It starts to pick up toward the last.
