I am not a big fan of romance novels and it's time I admit and accept this fact. The female character was too whiny and dependent.

A Whiny Dependent Female

I don't want to come down on a Tess Gerritsen book because I really love this author, but I didn't care as much for this particular title. I had high expectations because I love her "Detective Rizzoli" books, but this wasn't up to that level. It was predictable and many times, unbelievable. I never really got attached to the characters or cared much for the story in general. I still really enjoy Gerritsen and look forward to listening to The Keepsake.

Disappointed

To wishy washy in the back and forth romance. Kinda juvenile reading. I love Tress but a couple of her books do that.

not her best

Entertaining. Oh well told story. Written in typical Gerritsen style would be an enjoyable tale for all of her fans,

I am a big fan of Tess Gerritson, and this book has a lot of interesting elements. It feels a little shallower than her other works, but it’s still an enjoyable listen.
