Revered as a sacred text within Hinduism, it contains the great spiritual teaching Bhagavad-gita. Krishna Dharma has condensed the epic into a fast paced novel that fully retains the majestic mood of the original. A powerful and moving tale, it recounts the history of the five heroic Pandava brothers, sons of the Emperor Pandu.

Story
Srimad Bhagavatam is the most prominent of the Puranas, or histories of the Ancient World. The original Sanskrit text of the work, penned by the great sage Vyasadeva, says it is "as brilliant as the sun", because its teachings can illuminate our consciousness even in the darkest times. Much like the Arabian Nights, it has an intricate structure of stories within stories; epic tales of divine incarnations, saints, sages, gods and earthly kings that span vast periods of time.

Story
These 1028 poems, grouped as 10 ‘Circles’ (mandalas), have variously been called hymns, poems or songs by Sanskrit scholars. The Rik (so pronounced by the ancient Angirases clans, or Seer-Priest families) was an experiment with sound. The emphasis is always on sounding the words perfectly. The focus tends to be on the ideas rather than on the authors in Vedic literature, they are largely religious in nature, reflecting the world view and spiritual preoccupations of ancient India.

Publisher's Summary
Prabhupada: Your Ever Well-Wisher tells the inspiring story of a remarkable man and his remarkable achievement. A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada - philosopher, scholar, religious leader, author - founded the Hare Krishna movement in 1966, effectively transplanting India's spiritual culture of bhakti yoga from India to America. In his seventies and with almost superhuman drive, Prabhupada took his Hare Krishna movement and its iconic chant around the world and then back to India, establishing centers and ashrams wherever he went and writing over sixty books.
Drawing on Prabhupada's own words and on numerous interviews with those who knew him both in India and the West, Prabhupada emerges as a vital and earnest ambassador of spiritual India whose teachings continue to influence spiritual culture today.

Jai Srila Prabhupada!!!
What made the experience of listening to Prabhupada: Your Ever Well-Wisher the most enjoyable?
The wonder of story itself propels it right along. Also the fact of what can be achieved with Krsna's blessing.
What did you like best about this story?
I was so excited listening to the narration about the first (and early) Kirtans in the park in New york. To clarify my meaning all you have to do is Youtube "Hare Krsna Kirtan" and see what the early seeds planted!!
Which scene was your favorite?
To many to even pick one over the other.
