While in Bangalore, my four-year-old daughter, Deepa, developed asthma, which no doctors could cure. We sought help from numerous medical professionals, but none of the treatments worked. Desperate and worried about her worsening condition, I turned to a local healer, hoping for a miracle.
As her condition continued to deteriorate, I became increasingly anxious. In my desperation, I decided to place my trust in Lord Ayyappa, whom I had always revered and believed in for resolving life's difficulties. I made a solemn vow: if Deepa's asthma was cured, I would take her to the Sabarimala Temple as an offering of gratitude.
