I've loved Addison's little dictator ways and take-charge attitude, managing her brothers in the previous four books, so seeing Chase get under her skin or just be there for her with his little gestures and plans made my heart melt.

Stella Hunter perfectly portrayed Addison's tough, boss-lady energy and her rarely-shown vulnerability. J. F. Harding gave all of Chase's dedication to Addison and steadfast determination to get his girl. A better casting for these characters does not exist!

I'm so excited to see what Brighton has in store for Levi in his book. With the closeness of the MacKenzie’s, and the quirky little town of Starlight Cove and it’s residents, this series has quickly become a favorite!

I Love Addison and Chase! 💙💜 A second chance, best friend's little sister story that is definitely worth the read!! You will love and hate Addison and Chase! The miscommunication between this is maddening! I am so glad they finally got their HEA!! This book is read as a Duet and I really like that! The performances are real and I feel like I know the characters even more! This is book 5 in the series and I highly recommend it!

All of my favorite tropes are here with no 3rd act breakup. This was a fantastic book. 10/10

I’m here because of J.F.Harding and he’s doing superb job as always. TBH I’ve never read anything from this author. This is a decent romance book , a bit too much intimate scenes for me but a decent one. might explore others book in the series 👍🏻

AUDIO review: I thought I was swooning when I read this book! But sheesh! This DUET narrated audiobook is everything. JF Harding is exquisite as Chase. Each smirking line and possessive moment is delivered with pitch-perfect inflection. But Chase’s intense, whispered moments are the audiobook’s chef’s kiss. Harding is a new-to-me narrator and now, a new favorite. Every breath he took had me leaning in, completely ignoring my actual responsibilities, so I could listen a little longer. Stella Hunter as Addie is feisty and strong. Her best moments though are when we get to hear Addison’s steely exterior melt away leaving us to experience the tender, unguarded heart she shares with Chase. A five-star listen! I devoured every delicious moment.

BOOK REVIEW: Chase Lockhart is heart-melting and blush-inducing! I loved this book. It’s a best-friend’s little sister, secret love affair, forced proximity gem with a side of soul-mates and every moment was perfection! From Chase’s first chapter, he establishes himself as an alpha hero who only has eyes for one woman and she happens to be Addison, the quick-witted, sharp-edged, fire-cracking little sister of the McKenzie men. Chase and Addie have been having secret rendezvous since high-school but she’s his best friend’s little sister and firmly, off-limits. Plus, Chase has been busy in the NHL. But now, Chase is back and he’s determined to make Addie his, for good.

There’s so much to say about this book. First, I love a strong heroine who takes no prisoners and is aware of her abilities and not afraid to be in charge. Second, my kryptonite is a swoony, athletic, beast of a man who’s fully committed to his person and her happy endings (*ahem*) and Chase is all of the above. Finally, I love a well thought out nickname and Firefly is so perfectly Addie (bright and feisty). Brighton Walsh is officially the queen of dirty talk. Her love scenes are both hot (seriously, pant-inducing) and full of heart. I found myself smiling, laughing out loud and occasionally blushing as I read this book. Chase has some EPIC lines and don’t even get me started on his tattoos! I 100% recommend this book. Can I give it 6 stars?? Just trust me, read it! I promise, it’s worth it. (4 peppers, 5 stars)
