My Thoughts on Playing with Seduction

I love when I can drop into the middle of a series but don't feel like I'm lost or unable to get into it. This story was well written, held my interest from start to finish and has me wanting to check out more in this series.

The narrator did a fantastic job of showing emotion and anger and all the other feelings needing to be conveyed. She also managed to do a really good male voice that was believable for a female narrator and didn't distract or pull me out of the story.

All in all a really good listen.

So much more than just physical attraction!

I loved this book! I thought the narration was great and the narrator (Lia Langola) added so much emotion to the characters and book. This book is a standalone listen and part of a series (mention of some characters from previous books is extent of tie-in). I thought it was neat how Kendall was older than Jace. This book is so much more than sex, but it does include it. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was provided with this book upon my request as a gift and have voluntarily written this review. This book is definitely worth listening to again. I enjoyed the subtle humor in the book too!

Highest Bidder win a a hot and sexy romance!

This was my first book in The Players Club series. Yes it is a stand alone and I am sure some of the characters overlapped through stories as they were introduced and already good friends. But it did not have any effect on this story.

This is one hot and steamy cougar romance. Jace is a sexy cover model and Kendall is the cover photographer but how they get together is a fun part of the story. Once they get together, there is no way to separate them.

I was completely captivated by this romance. Kendall was brave and I am glad I could live vicariously through her story. Jace knows what he wants and stops at nothing to get it.

Lia Langola is the perfect narrator for this story. Her understanding of the characters makes each character come to life. She can get the perfect tone for each emotion a character is feeling or dealing with. Ms. Langola transforms an audio book into a play in your mind. She helps the reader get lost in the book.

This is my favorite book of the series so far!

Kendall Shaw loves her job as a boudoir photographer, she constantly refuses the advances of Jase Burns, mainly cuz he's 8 years younger than her and she's ready to get married and start a family. When Kendall decides to spend one night being auctioned at the Players Club, the last person she expects to place the highest bid is Jase.
After spending one amazing night together, Kendall decides she can have a fling with Jase, but when they both start to develop deeper feelings, the time comes to call it quits, even thought it's not what either of them want to do.
Lia Langola is one of my favorite narrators! The way she brings the story to life with emotion and humor, keeps me captivated and along for the ride.

I love this author and series

this is one of my favorite series. I felt like I could really connect with characters. she is about my age and has some of the same fears as I do. her personality seems very similar to mine.
I love the hot sex scenes. the writing was great and the story was good. although I wish there were more players club fun. I can't wait for the next book.
Lia is fabulous for narrating, she was born for the sex scenes.
I would recommend it to friends.
