4 Stars – Fun, Flirty, and Surprisingly Sweet

Okay, so I went into this expecting a typical cocky hockey guy romance—and yeah, Daniel “Playboy” Hall definitely starts off that way. But wow, he’s got layers. Like, actual feelings and insecurities and a whole lot of heart under that swagger. His obsession with Hannah is kinda adorable, even if he’s a total goof sometimes.
The story has all the good stuff:

Banter that made me laugh out loud
A surprise pregnancy twist that somehow works
A heroine (Hannah) who’s smart, strong, and not here for Daniel’s nonsense—until she is 😏
And some genuinely sweet moments that sneak up on you

Audiobook Review:
Narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Sean Masters, the duet style was perfect for this one. Vanessa nails Hannah’s sass and vulnerability, and Sean brings Daniel’s charm and emotional depth to life. Their chemistry made the story even more fun to listen to, and the pacing kept me hooked the whole way through.

Sexy and funny

Daniel Playboy Hall, hello daddy! I adored him and Hannah so much! Their story is funny, sexy and addictive! I love that Daniel is a little younger, goofy, a playboy and also has the biggest heart. Hannah deserves the world and I love that she made Daniel work for her. Also the baseball field scene was freaking epic! I love these characters and found family so much! I can’t wait to listen to Beauty!

Loved it!!! 🥰

I absolutely loved this book!!! Baby Hall has moved into one of my favorite book boyfriends! The way that he loved Hannah would make any woman swoon and how he would do anything to make her happy (and the letters, such a nice touch) And Hannah-she was a top notch FMC! I loved her sassiness and how she wasn’t afraid to say what she wanted!! The two of them worked perfectly together and had amazing chemistry. I did feel bad for the small blip with Camden and I hope he either gets his own book or we get some type of HEA for him in Sienna and Noah’s book-Beauty.
The Audiobook was of course fabulous! Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwin were the perfect Daniel “Baby Hall” and Hannah! I love both these narrators and they really brought out their A game!!
Loving this series-would totally 💯 recommend it!! Can’t wait for Beauty coming in November.

Daniel is BAE

Daniel Hall is spectacular. Did I have any doubts? No. But he surpassed all expectations here! I read this knowing it’s a surprise pregnancy trope - which is far from my fave - but Hannah and Daniel made this story great. One thing I would have loved to see (which would have brought this to 5 stars for me) would have been a discussion around options/choices when they discovered the pregnancy. Hannah is a character who didn’t want to settle down, but there was never even a debate about whether she’d have an abortion, which felt quite… strange for this day and age, particularly for a story set in Massachusetts where women have access to healthcare. Open door, 🌶️🌶️🌶️.

I know we called him Baby Hall for a while, but shut the front door because DADDY HALL is home and he stole my damn heart. Whew boy, I knew I was going to love Daniel Hall but this man said, “I can be even BETTER than you imagined.” And he was right.

All the stars in the world for this book. It absolutely wrecked me, put me back together and made me a puddle on the floor.

Also Brittanee needs to make this book come with a warning because there is one scene (yes that scene) where you shouldn’t be reading it in public because you won’t be able to contain your cackling.

Playboy and Hannah might just be my favorite couple yet. The age gap, the he fall first, the accidental pregnancy… every single trope hit so hard in this book. Daniel has been OBSESSED with Hannah for years, and when a one night stand results in an accidental pregnancy… he has no hesitation whatsoever in locking his Dream girl down.

I loved every second of this book, from first word until last, and for someone who isn’t big on the accidental pregnant trope, this was one of the best ones I have ever read.

I will never doubt Brittanee’s ability to make me fall in love with every single thing she writes.
