To the point and clear. The words are pictures that are easy to follow and encouraging action steps to put into practice immediately. Not condemning but matter of fact. Great reminders and clues into the husbands we love. Thanks, Dr. Leman!

Communication and timing of addressing issues with your husband.

This book was extremely eye opening. There are distinct differences in husbands and wives and they way they see things. As I reflect on my own choices in marriage, I’ve made some critical errors. I’m going to try these strategies this week. Gonna recommend this book to others.

Giving it a go!

I’ve been married for 16 years. We’ve had amazing years, and we’ve had on the rocks years. We’ve worked through every issue from drugs to pastoral abuse and family issues. But we’ve gotten into a funk. And if I’ve learned anything from all that we’ve been through together, it’s that I can only control me, and me making my own changes has way more power over my marriage and my hubby’s behavior than anyone else could imagine. So, I needed someone to give it to me straight. And this did that. I may not have a new husband by Friday, because it’s Tuesday as I’m finishing the book, but I’m going to do my best.
Took a star away because of the loud music played. Otherwise, I thought a woman reading the book was a good idea. Makes it feel less confrontational, if that makes sense.
