Publisher's Summary

Finding love in a divisive world has come down to the luck of the draw.

At 25, Graham is an alpha werewolf that’s just come of age and that means one thing - it’s time to settle down. However, with so many omegas to choose from, an alpha is stuck hoping he picks the right name from a number of potential mates. The CEO of Roll Over needs a submissive lover, one that will support him in his business ventures.

Parker is an omega and Graham’s life-long friend. Upon reaching puberty, he was rounded up and tossed into an omega safe zone, like all other omegas. When he’s dragged to a mate choosing ceremony, Parker never considers the alpha waiting for him on the other side of the curtain might be the alpha he’s been dreaming of.

When the two are finally reunited, sparks fly - and not just romantic ones. Coming from two very different lifestyles, will Graham and Parker rise to the challenge of a real relationship? Or will they come undone after so many years apart?

Pick of the Litter is a gay, mpreg, shifter romance audio book. It is intended for adults only and guarantees a happily ever after ending for the main characters.

Deeper than I thought

Most alpha /Omega romances are very straight forward. They met, they fall in love, probably babies, hea...this one also has a happy ending, but it has one ugly segregation system in place for alphas and omegas. It doesn't just talk about love, but about society and it's indifference (unfairness). I liked it a lot!

2.5 Stars

Unlike the other reviewers, this book did not click with me. In fact, had I not received a free copy to review, I would have returned it without finishing it. Despite the fact that is a relatively short book, it took me a while to get through it. The thing I had the biggest problem with was the fact that I kept feeling as though I forgot to read the first book in the series. I felt lost in the beginning. By the end, I thought the book was OK; however, I'm not really interested in the rest of the series.

Opression is never right!!

This is a really thought provoking and almost true to life book! The parallel's between our society now days and the way this society exists in this book and acts in this thought provoking book is extraordinarily close to reality. My hat goes off to Mr. Kingsley for giving us this really great book! The narration by Mr. Bo Alexander only adds to the over all enjoyment of this book! The angst, the character development, the story/plot flow effortlessly across and just drags you into the story and you feel like you know these people and can empathies with their plight! I fully enjoyed both the "E" book and the Audible book version of this story! An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Good Audio Book

The story was interesting. After understanding the story line it was worth listening too. I'm wondering if there's going to be a continuation to this book. It kind of left it open.

A unique mpreg story

This is a wonderful story about two friends separated by their gender only to be reunited by fate. It takes their coming together to help change their world for future generations including their own omgea sons.
Narrator Bo Alexander does a fabulous job.

Great Story

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. I enjoyed listening to Graham and Parker's story. Parker was taken away at a young age due to his status of being an Omega. Graham knew Parker from when they were kids and kept in touch with him through letters, he even would send him a candy bar that was against the rules but he didn't care to have Parker happy. On his 25th birthday Graham was to pick his mate, he winds up pulling Parker's name. They butt heads when Parker finds out that Graham is the CEO of a business that supposedly wants to help omegas but they don't see eye to eye on how to keep them safe. In the end things work out between them and Parker is happy to know that his omega twin sons won't have to go through what he did growing up.

Can love prevail?

After ten years apart can love prevail over outdated laws? Omegas are taken at puberty and put into camps that are really prisons supposedly for their own good. Graham is a 25 year old Alpha still in love after ten years with his childhood friend, Parker an Omega locked away in a camp. After communicating by letter the whole time Graham must move on and select a mate by drawing a name from a hat. Who's name will he draw? This story line is different from others I've read but enjoyed it all the same. Bo Alexander did a great job with the narration.

LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING

This is a FANTASTIC shifter story written by Liam Kingsley, narrated by Bo Alexander. Alpha Graham has come of age and in his pack, it's time to pick a mate. Parker is an Omega who is going to be pulled from the Omega prison camp, where he has spent the last ten years. Will they recognize each other. Can they compromise enough to build a life through these troubled times. This is a story about love and compromise. Making a difference for all. I highly recommend this fantastic Audiobook.

I love you, but I can't support this

Pick of the Litter is an excellent political story featuring Alphas and Omegas on opposing sides of society.

Alphas demand that Omegas be removed from their families and held in secure facilities for the Omegas "protection." Opportunities to mate are by raffle, with the Omega having no voice in his future. Likewise, the Alpha who picks the Omega in a blind raffle must mate him.

Our MCs are fortunate that they are chosen to be together. Even though it worked out for our Omega Parker, it doesn't mean he's willing to roll with the status quo. When he finds out that his Alpha Graham owns the company that wants to keep Omegas locked up, Parker feels that he must fight back against this injustice... even when it means losing his fated alpha.

Narrator Bo Alexander brings out the heartwrenching feelings of Parker, while giving Graham a serious dose of "what just happened here?" Alexander is easy to follow during his narrative, and works well with the characters.

A fair fight!

Parker lives in a society where Omegas are hidden from Alphas and given to one when they reach the age of 25. Graham is an Alpha who has been writing letters to an omega he loves. Fate brings them together to find their noble mission. There are some miscommunications in the middle but their love shines through and they combine forces for the greater good.

Very interesting

This is a very interesting book to listen to as it’s a different take on alphas and omegas. Graham and Parker grew up together until Parker had to go away and then when it was time for getting a mate. Graham happens to choose Parker’s name which meant that he was his mate. They have a difficult time at first as they both have different ideals but they do eventually get them to aline together.
