Jargon and acronyms are everywhere, and you will be hard-pressed to find a definition or what to do with them.

That is what makes this book different. It is written for a beginner, as the title suggests. It assumes the listener has some knowledge, maybe even just basic knowledge. But, it is written in a format that follows a sequence of steps necessary to take a great photo.

But, photography does not stop with a photo. This book gives many ideas about how to share and display your photos. It also discusses how to have fun with the art. And, let's face it, photography is an art. And art, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Photography for Beginners discusses how elements in any scene can be altered for aesthetic purposes. This is a different slant than is shown in many photography books, because art has few boundaries: the possibilities are endless.

While this will not make you a pro, it's a good first step. It offers you imperative information with a quick explanation, to help you get started right away.

this book is worth it's weight in gold.

I've invested in a gem and the price was a definite steal so I grabbed it as quickly as I could.this book is excellent for a beginner like me.I look forward to reading it over and again.

Great starting point

As the title says, this is for beginners so if you know the basics of your camera or read the manual, you have most of the information from this book.
The author does a great job of breaking down and explaining the "holy trinity" of photography. Aperture, shutter speed and focal length.
The narration is excellent and clear making for an easy to listen to performance.

Gets to the point.

If you are a beginner. this read will give you core principles to begin with

This audio book features "general " knowledge of photography. The information helped clarify some meanings and definitions however it was not the book I was looking for.
