Paul, Silas, Timothy and Luke visited Philippe and founded the first church in Europe on Paul's second missionary journey around AD 50 (Acts 16:11-40).

This letter was written in about AD 61 from Rome while Paul was under house arrest.

He writes from a place of strength and joy to encourage his dear friends in Philippi, who were also facing many contradictions.

Two years ago I bought a copy of the Mirror Word translation, and I was blown away with the descriptions of the original language(s) and clarity of the message. My initial search was for the full audio version but I was happy just to see Philippians on Audible. Francois' voice is very relaxing as a narrator, and on top of that he's preaching the Gospel.

At several points during the audio book there were moments that made me laugh and cry at the same time, such as when he explained the meaning of the Greek word 'righteousness', and after listening to the book all the way through, now I feel stuck to my chair because of the rest I feel inside...

I have never heard philippians like this before.

I just finished it and I'm starting over. I've never heard philippians like this before. I've had a very stressful go of it lately and can't connect to God, peace, nothing but stress and this was not only soothing and calming but enlightening. I'm so aware of God's love and presence. I can't wait for François to do more.......

I loved the audio of Philippians

The Mirror Bible is my favorite translation. It helped me to understand the finished work of Jesus, for me and all mankind. All that was left for me to do was to fall in love with him. The audio of Philippians was awesome. I very much enjoyed it.

The word translated afresh.

I love the Greek illumination of actual scriptures which I've memorized, coming alive in a new way. The commentary notes are just as insightful and revelatory as the scriptures. It is a wholesome message of God's Agape for mankind's redeemed innocence. I truly desire more books and one day... the whole Mirror Bible on audible. I'll be the first preorder. I pray and trust that you will experience the Father's heart beat in this love message of Phillippians.
