Good story-great reader

Fun light reading. Love the interplay between the characters. Reader does a great job, and gives the characters real personality.

Would you consider the audio edition of Perilous Hunt to be better than the print version?

The books and the narration both are super in this series. We can't wait for the final book to add to our Audible collection!!!!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Both Alisa and Leonidias.

What does Kate Reading bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kate Reading is super, she brings the characters to life. She adds the inflections for both the serous and comedic, she just makes us laugh and cry and enjoy anything she reads. I added a new series of books to my library because she was the narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I have listened to this series several times. Every time a new book in the series is released we listen to the whole series again.

We can't wait until the last book in the series is available and would love it if the novellas could be added to Audible and read by Kate Reading.

Good-ish book, finally getting to a conclusion

Ok, let's start off with bad: too much sex, too much talking about sex, too much thinking about sex, too much filler sex which does nothing to progress the story. I am not a prude either. I'm adult man with 8 kids, so I know how this stuff works. There was a point in this book, though, where I skipped about half a chapter because it devolved into romance erotic fiction. Not every interaction between Alisa and Leo needs to be sexual, and I swear I am sick of hearing about his wiener not working.

Abalardus is getting pretty old too, especially in the Me Too environment of today. His constantly raping Alisa's and Leo's minds when they both explicitly say no multiple times is cringy at best and criminal at worst.

Overall, the story was good if more than a bit formulaic. There were scenes pulled out of previous books and dressed just a bit differently. It reminded me of the old Dr. Who shows from the 70's which filmed the same rock quarry from different angles to pretend it was yet another rocky alien planet. I think I'd like for more character development over the course of 7 books.

Another exciting installment

Oh, I can hardly wait to see how it continues. The suspense continues to build. How can Terrible Tim be defeated? Will Alisa and Leonidas finally get their happily ever after?

Thoroughly enjoyed

I am captivated by the story and would love to hear another 9 books. Oh well. I am eagerly awaiting the release of End Game in Audible.

Still Listening, But the Shine is Off the Penny

It is obvious I have enjoyed this series or I would have never stayed with it this long, however, it is becoming a bit tedious that no one is rising to the occasion of being an ADULT.
This should be titled MISFITS IN SPACE. We are at a point in the story that I expect the dialogue to be less about penises with fewer to NO, tantrums, and a lot less emphasis on cookies!
I will continue, but with considerably less enthusiasm than before.
