I was surprised to be this disappointed

I never listen to the naysayers on reviews of Beaton/Chesney books, because even the most silly are so much fun. Imagine my surprise, then, when I come across one of her books with NO bad reviews, and discover it to be quite disappointing. I wouldn’t say it is terrible, but it’s far below her others. Furthermore, I would rather have Charlotte Ann Dore instead of this narrator. Just… meh.

Finally a good narrator....

Too many of these Beaton/Chesney books have such a horrible narrator. Since I listen more than read I find it REALLY makes a difference! But I'll spare you my bad narrator rant.

Waste of credit

I kept waiting for some kind of plot…it never developed. I wish I could get my credit back. This was a waste of time.
