Broad vocabulary helps reader appreciate nuances of character interactions. Dark themes caution.

Mr. Zap utilizes a broad vocabulary and descriptors to help the reader understand the nuances of interactions between the characters. This book is not for everyone. I became hooked when I listened to the trailer on his website and immediately used one of my audible credits to purchase it. The book touches on a variety of paranormal and alternative lifestyle themes of which I am already somewhat familiar and so I appreciated it greatly. Some parts of the book were extremely dark and may be triggering to some readers. The middle part of the book was somewhat difficult to get through. It seemed it might never end and bring me back to the characters I longed to get back to, but it eventually came around. I was at first disappointed in lack of main female characters. However the end of the book helped a little in helping me understand the reason.
