Jack isn't reliving the days of the lost Sixteen Court. She's a rogue traveller now, letting old truths die. Until one day when she gets word of a treasure from her past. As she works with a hired gun and a warrior spider, something goes very wrong with her paints, something that should be impossible.

Jack could quit. The court is gone, after all. But when one of the canines offers her a familiar piece of her past, she is pulled into a conflict she hoped never to face.
