Mr. Thomas did a totally credible job of reading it. it is so packed with information that I must obtain a hard copy to review it over and over. Pastor Miles is to be commended for his thorough approach, from what is wrong to what we need to do about it.

Each Section Could Have Been Its Own Book

I enjoy reading books in this genre because I don't think that enough Christians are aware of the subtle ways that we are led astray. Anyone can look at tarot cards and see the evil in it, but others will turn a blind eye to Enneagrams and yoga and others without a thought.

There are no neutrals in society or culture. Things glorify either God or pull us away - subtly or overtly. This book does a good job of trying to hit as many of these issues as is possible in 6 hours of listening. I would gladly listen to a book on each. I will say that I wish the authors would include a list of additional resources in the audio version so that there would be a list of reliable authors to research to gain a deeper understanding.

The only reason not to give it 5-stars is that the author takes the Crusades, as the revisionist historians try to frame them, as fact. The Crusades were a response to Islamic aggression and conquest, not a spontaneous desire for Christians to kill Muslims. With the great scholarly work done by Rodney Stark and Raymond Ibrahim in this area, it is irresponsible to place the Crusades into a column of Christian missteps.
