Poor voice choices

A pretty standard omegaverse storyline. It was neither good nor bad.

The voice actors weren't a very good choice for this book, though. The female voice actor sounded like she was in her late 30s/40s trying to play a 17 year old girl, and the male voice actor couldn't do deep voices, so half his teenage boy characters sounded like they were doing bad Batman impersonations. Very strange and hard to take seriously.

Must listen for the series

This is essential to the rest of the series. We get all the heartbreaking backstory. It’s a quick listen and well worth it.

I am not sure if I like the story or not to be honest. I couldn't get past the narrator and his monster voice he uses for some of the characters. So anytime he did monster voice I started laughing at the ridiculousness of said monster voice. I can't pretend to know how hard it is doing different voices, but I just couldn't listen anymore. I will have to read it sometime in the future so I can give the book an honest try.
