Dear Ms. Keane,

Before this ridiculous little arrangement commences, I’d like to make myself indubitably clear: I know who you are, I know that my father hired you, I know why my father hired you, and last but not least: Your services aren’t needed. In fact, I want no part of my father’s billion-dollar empire, and him “gifting” me with one of the “best concierges in the county” won’t change that. He’s wasting his money. You’re wasting your time.

However, seeing as how you foolishly signed an ironclad contract with an Act of God clause and my father has strong-armed me into taking this position, it appears as though we’re stuck together - at least until your contract is up next month.

That said, our time together at WellesTech should be relatively painless, but please don’t fool yourself into thinking I don’t notice when that pretty little stare lingers a little too long or the way your breath catches when our hands graze. You’re fascinated by me, and it kills you because you can hardly stand to be in the same room as me.

Think I’m a problem worth solving? An impossible riddle worth figuring out? By all means, go ahead and try. Solve for X. Crack the code. It might even be fun (but only for me, not you).

V/r, Calder Welles, II

P.S. I dare you.

Such a good story with an incredible premise. Loved every moment listening to this story.

Incredible story. Wonderful characters.

Such a fantastic narration! Enjoyable and lovely.

A daring read!

I really don't know what to say about this title. I thought the story felt rushed. The whole interaction between Calder and Erin...they don't get along...then they do and they are confessing their love for each other. The development of the characters could have been more detailed. The explanation of how they went from not liking each other to loving one another needed more.

As for the narration, it was flat. I believe this is the first title I've listened to narrated by Benjamin James and the distinction between female characters and male characters was lacking. They sounded too similar. The old man and old woman voices were creepy as well. Overall, not a favorite unfortunately.

Just Ok

This book was wonderful! It is a great addition to the P.S. Series. Its about two people that are damaged in their own ways and about how they help each other heal and move on. It deals with death, guilt and overcoming obstacles in everyday life. Benjamin James does an excellent job narrating this book. I received a copy of this audiobook from Audiobook Boom and I am leaving my honest review.

Such a great story!

Such a good story. Needed a narrator who could do a female voice consistently. There were many times I didn't know if he or she was talking. One or two octaves higher would have made this a five star for me. (p.s. the narrators voice was great as a male character)

Narrator Teacher

The story line is okay but the narrator makes it difficult to follow. There is one narrator doing all characters and while he changes voice for male roles there is no change for female. This becomes frustrating to say the least and hard to follow.

I was so looking forward to this. Winter Renshaw is a vary talented writer but she wasn’t in the game this time. There WAS a lot going for it. On the other hand, there was a lot NOT going for it. The premise was interesting but not original. The characters didn’t hold their described personalities. Aerin was introduced as being the best in her field but she failed to pull that off. And I met Calder as a strict single but he fell completely. His father was so very confusing. Did he love his son more than the business? Did he love his first wife, or plot her demise? Did he have a loving relationship with his current wife? Was he telling the truth to Aerin about his motives or to Calder about wanting to reconnect, or was he just a pathological liar?

Benjamin James voice is easy to listen to. It’s not a deep, gravely baritone of a voice, but it’s totally male and sexy. A good voice can enhance a mediocre story.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. My review is HONEST.
👏🏻 Applause for the effort and a pleasant 5 hours.

🔥 Great Voice. 🥱 Mediocre Story.

P.S. I Dare You (P.S. #3) was a good read by Winter Renshaw. Calder Welles' father wants to leave him his billion-dollar empire and "gift" him with one of the best concierges in the country. Calder feels like his father is wasting his money because he doesn't want any of this. Airen is the concierge his father picks and they're stuck together for the next month. Neither one thought that they would find themselves attracted to each other. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

I enjoy listening to this book. I like their relatives but would be nice if things were not such a rush. Benjamin James did an excellent job at narrating

Aerin is your type A personality with a strong dose of OCD. She needs complete order in her life, nothing out of place ever. This is one of the reasons she is top in her career.

Calder II has lived his life doing the opposite of order. He was forced as a child to follow strict rules and discipline by being sent to a military academy so he wants no part of forced order in his life.

Calder Wells Sr has been estranged from his son for years. He needs him to agree to take over the company Calder Sr has worked his entire life building. He devises a plan to hire Aerin to be Calder II, C.J, assistant and uses a sure fire way to get him to agree.

This is a great story of two opposites that definitely attract. This author always gives us the feel goods in the end but she shows us people have other sides to them as well and so we get to see the messed up sides of both Aerin and Calder and what they dealt with as children. I loved that Calder has a soft side he keeps hidden from everyone but Aerin and that he gets inside her head as well.

This was my first time listening to Benjamin James. He did a good job narrating this great story.

Opposites attract

I listened to the audio version of this book. This was my first by Winter Renshaw. The story had a good set-up. Angry Calder is somewhat forced to agree to take over his father's company. His father hires a woman to be his personal assistant--which he also doesn't want.
Aerin finds Calder to be an a$$ from the get go, but is getting paid enough money to stick it out. Animosity between the two abounds, but there's also sexual attraction.
I enjoyed the book, but Calder went from detesting Aerin to doing a total turn around really, really quickly. A little more development would have been great.
The narration by Benjamin James was two fold for me. I loved his voice, but there were a few pacing problems along the way. It was still good enough that I wouldn't mind going back and listening to the other two books int he series.

Good story!
