Helpful for kids.

Thankfully, I had an assortment of equipment close at hand. But I was being foolish; Richard Bass's book is excellent. He compiles a wide range of coping mechanisms for dealing with emotional difficulties in a way that is easy for the reader to comprehend and put into practice. Essential for kids.

My absolute favorite tool

All of this is done by Richard Bass with wonderful compassion and without the use of jargon that I've found to exacerbate anxiety in previous books I've read on the subject. A few of the tools have already been utilized by me with my own clientele. The portions on maintaining motivation for school while overcoming melancholy and building optimism about school are already notably successful.

Enjoyed it so much

The opportunity to use his toolbox for adolescents with my pupils is something I am looking forward to. This is a must-read if you work with teenagers who are experiencing anxiety, sadness, or rage. I loved it so much that I've already suggested it to a few of my coworkers!

A well organized book

One of the things I observed as a documentary filmmaker when I interviewed Richard Bass is how well-organized and simple his advice is. Similar to how his last book was precise, understandable, and beneficial for anyone dealing with anxiety, rage, or sadness.

Awesome resource for working with teens!

You may alter the questions for younger children and utilize these for both groups and individuals, depending on the diagnosis. I also appreciate how diverse the themes are. It addresses a wide range of scenarios, making it suitable for a variety of youngsters. I can't wait to introduce these exercises to my groups and observe their reactions!
