Publisher's Summary

Grayson Ford and Emma Kinglsey - close since they were kids, opposites in every way. He's the stuff high school crushes are made of, Mister Popular, and captain of every team. She's artsy, cute, and not in his league, though fully aware of Summerland's "I Dream of Dating Grayson Ford" support group.

I can't say no. The girl's had my heart since before I knew it went missing.

He hides a life of hell. His father hates him, his mother's gone. Emma is his only savior, yet she doesn't know her power over him. She's the only girl he wants, the only one he could ever tell - though he won't.

I'm stronger, bigger, more of a man than he'll ever be, but because I ruined his life, I've taken his crap, his attacks, the vulgar nature of his existence.

Until she discovers Gray's embarrassment, his humiliation. Emma fights for him and for a chance. Theirs is a Cinderella story that she believes impossible. But as the layers peel back, it's just a guy who needs a girl in order to keep breathing.

My mind is already doodling "Mrs. Grayson Ford" in imaginary notebooks. He has no clue where my head is at.... But given that I didn't see what just happened coming, maybe I have no clue where his head is at either.

Sweet love story with alot of rocky turns

this is such a sweet story and boy did it end with a bang! I wasn't expecting some of the stuff that happened to happen but it was amazing how it played out. Emma and Gray's story is one you won't forget anytime soon! worth a credit

Another heroine with no backbones

I hate heroine with no backbones. This one certainly had that. Instead of standing up for herself, she ran and then back to the H so he can explain. This just showed that their relationship was weak. If you like weak h this one is for you.

DNF, quit after 5 mins of hearing the lady narrator

The narrator sounds like she's had one too many and is now trying so hard to close a deal at the bar. Irritating.

Also I read the reviews and the word "stripping" is enough to make me skeedaddle out of here.

I LOVE THE WAY CRISTIN HARBER WRITES!

I particularly enjoyed this book. The characters were multi-dimensional, with the many faults which make us humans prone to fail but get up and keep trying. The performance was done extremely well and proved to be very entertaining.

Good friends to lovers romance

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The two main characters started out as children, but during high school they fell in love with each other. The hero lives with his abusive father, while the heroine comes from a loving family. Her brother is the hero’s best friend. As they get closer, the hero decides he’s not good enough for her because of his past and he leaves her and joins the military.
When he returns to find his girl after being injured in a battle where he lost his whole team, he finds out that she’s not the only one he left behind. Story has a great ending and narration was excellent.

Too much angst

I can’t believe the choices this girl made. She has family so I can quite believe she has to strip to make a living.
