Exceptional amazing read!

And Lucinda Berry delivers again with this audiobook thriller. Just wow.
One of our own starts off with Felicia who’s a single mum and lawyer. She volunteers her nights for a local crisis center when she receives a troubled call from
a teenage girl who has been through SA at a party.
And the story unfolds in this immensely tense setting where Felicia goes beyond to help the girl.

I devoured this book cause the narration was chefs kiss! I loved the way this book was delivered where you can feel the respective characters’ feelings (helplessness, anguish, pain, calmness and the sense of urgency).

I love how Lucinda Berry always brings us through an emotional roller coaster where she puts us in a moral dilemma situation of what would you do. The way she questioned what is right and wrong while reading the book has me on a chokehold.

My only problem is that this book is less than 4 hours 🫢

A heart wrenchingly painful book with a satisfying ending.

Gripping story with Amazing Narration!!!

OMG! This was an emotional story and I kept hearing JJ the entire time as I love Criminal Minds! Awesome choice! This was an emotional roller coaster of emotions especially as a mom! I don't normally do audio books but Lucinda did it again! Always wrecking me but making me come back for more! Highly recommended this one even if your not an audio book reader!

Absolutely loved the book. Beautifully written and told by the best in the business. Also a pleasure reading and listening to her books

I wish A.J. Cook did more audiobooks.

Great story, but the chapters are mis marked. When A.J. says chapter 7, it reads on the chapter list as Chapter 8.

This was so good!!

A.J. Cook is on my favorite show "Criminal Minds". She did a fantastic job narrating this book. I enjoyed it. The other lady playing Chloe did an excellent job too.

All the feels

This was a gut wrenching story but.. predictable. This was my first Lucinda Berry. Can’t wait to read more from her

Couldn’t turn it off. It made me late several times because I could not get out of the car until I finished the chapter.

very predictable but I did enjoy it! my first audio book that I've actually liked.

I have yet to read a single Lucinda Berry book that didn’t leave me completely speechless! 10/10 recommend!
