Publisher's summary

Forgiving yourself is the first step toward finding true love.

Henry Atkins is determined to turn around his no-good, sorry life and prove to the residents of Clyde’s Corner that he’s not the town bad boy anymore. If going to church every Sunday with the Ladies Society is what it takes to polish his reputation, he’s all in. But when every secret fantasy in his head walks into the stables at Muddy River Ranch, the straight and narrow path he’s on takes a wild detour. It never felt so good to be so bad.

Micah has been one of the biggest porn stars in the world for five years, but he’s burned out. His body won’t cooperate to film even one more scene. A month’s vacation with his old friend Ben in Montana is just what his jaded heart needs. He wants rest, fresh air, and to not be recognized by a living soul. He sure as hell isn’t looking for a fling, and he wants nothing to do with Henry, the fanboy who works at Ben’s ranch.

The two men are both seeking a fresh start, an escape from the demons of their past. Fly-fishing lessons on the river uncover the surprising number of things they have in common and forms a heartfelt bond that might save their weary souls. Only Micah’s past isn’t through with him yet.

Aww!

Henry and Micah are so cute together! Henry’s performance in the barn when he first sees Micah sounds like something that would happen to me! I love the nosey ladies society and the realistic portrayal of small town life, for the good and the bad!

Best of previous books and more

Matthew Shaw is a great narrator who I enjoyed in the past with this author's books. He has a way of bringing the characters to live, almost acting out the story rather then narrating it. He is a pleasure to listen to.
I liked this book a lot, I think it combined elements from the first two books and got a very emotional redemption story.
I always enjoy a book where you get to see the other side of a previously considered "bad" character. Henry Atkins is just that, a real heart of gold guy who turned his life around for himself first and got the guy because of it. The romance is satisfying and real, steamy and not too physically focused.
Micah also has a similar vibe, stuck in a job he does not like and can't get out he finds things he likes and things to like about himself because of Henry.
I enjoyed how the entire town was a part of this story, characters from the previous 2 books having a major role in shaping the plot.
You get the feel of why Henry loves his town so much, and you kind of fall in love with it too.

Want You

I love all the feels in this story. I love how these two men in some ways seem to see themselves as less than and not worthy. But the beauty of the story is that each brings out the best in the other. I also like the fact that Henry is already in the business of reinventing himself before Micah or anyone else comes along. I also like the idea that towns people are real as in some of them want to see you as a better person and others will never change. I also love how the dramatic crisis isn't what brings them together it just enhances what was already starting.
I listened to the audio version and it was very well done.

Great series!

I was given this audio to review so I read the first two books of the series before listening. I enjoyed getting to know characters and town.
The narrator was new to me and I am pretty picky but thoroughly enjoyed his narration.
I really like Henry and Micah. Their characters were well fleshed out. I liked Henry's redemption angle.
