Brock was a man of integrity a giving man but one who didn't seem to understand what was needed to be said to ensure his feelings for the girl who fell for him and the one he needed in his life

The story was perfect, as was the narration. I think I found my new favorite author.

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Felt unnecessarily long

Pros: steam scenes were written well, the love story is cute.

Cons: the story had too much filler scenes. Some of it felt like appropriate background but a good bulk felt like it was taking away from the love story. Without even realizing it, I found myself tuning out conversations between the female lead and her friend or her sister or her dad. Lastly, the male narrator’s attempts at voicing a female were off. He sounded whiny.

The heroine is ridiculous

This woman acts like a 14 year old most of the time. She gets a glimpse of potential conflict with the male lead, and without asking any questions or even trying to understand the man’s point of view, she storms away. Then, instead of inviting adult conversation to work things out with him, she hides away from solving her problems. It was totally annoying, time after time. I’ve read several other books by this author and liked them all. But I had to force myself to finish this one. My recommendation is to try a different book by this author and compare for yourself.
