I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Felt unnecessarily long

Pros: steam scenes were written well, the love story is cute.

Cons: the story had too much filler scenes. Some of it felt like appropriate background but a good bulk felt like it was taking away from the love story. Without even realizing it, I found myself tuning out conversations between the female lead and her friend or her sister or her dad. Lastly, the male narrator’s attempts at voicing a female were off. He sounded whiny.

The heroine is ridiculous

This woman acts like a 14 year old most of the time. She gets a glimpse of potential conflict with the male lead, and without asking any questions or even trying to understand the man’s point of view, she storms away. Then, instead of inviting adult conversation to work things out with him, she hides away from solving her problems. It was totally annoying, time after time. I’ve read several other books by this author and liked them all. But I had to force myself to finish this one. My recommendation is to try a different book by this author and compare for yourself.

Major mishap, resulting with the perfect HEA

I really enjoyed this storyline! It was different, unexpected and bordered on obsession, but in the best way!!

Piper first meets Brock in an unconventional sexy robber like adventure. Piper was happily sleeping off her jetlag in her hotel room when she hears noises. Long story short, there was a mix-up at the front desk, and they were both booked for the same room.

With instant lies, long walks on the beach, the two hit it off and end with the notion that they'll never see each other again. They'll always have Lanai.

Fast forward with nothing but a steamy kiss to remember. They find themselves in their hometown with new ventures. Long story short - they end up being the perfect duo both on and off the boardroom. There's lots of push and pull and setting truths straight. Together they are a match made in heaven and I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. Theirs really soo much more to it than I have written. I could probably right about it all day. lol

I loved the narration. For me, the female narration took a while to get used to, but it really did add to the characters innocent, naive persona. Great job all around. I look forward to more from both this author and these narrators.

The story proved not to doubt a woman on a mission of truth and justice.
Brock was a man of integrity a giving man but one who didn't seem to understand what was needed to be said to ensure his feelings for the girl who fell for him and the one he needed in his life

The story was perfect, as was the narration. I think I found my new favorite author.

The story itself is great but after listening to a couple books with Rock Engle as the male narrator? I’ll be avoiding his voice in the future…

Fairytale Ending

This enemies to lovers office romance is super steamy and worth reading. The narrators do a great job.

Brock definitely had more layers to him than I initially thought he would. It made him more like able and interesting. Overall I liked how much backbone Piper had, she never folded or gave into anything less than what she deserved and truly needed, no matter how difficult a situation was or grand age gesture was. She stated true to herself.
