I’m so glad I decided to read this book, it was romantic and infuriating at the same time, but I stayed for the ride and enjoyed this book so much. I will recall this to a friend.

Healthy Romance

I am always looking for AA authors and I love good romantic fiction!! But it was really nice to read one that “gets it right”!!! The thrill of love - but not in an unbalanced, unhealthy way. A compelling story with a lot of life lessons to give the reader something to think about in their lives!

Eve's growth

Eve's past trauma affects life choices and how overcoming helped her achieve success & love.

This book was so good! It was both beautiful and authentic. Aside from Kennedy Ryan, there a few authors that can pull that off. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in an interracial romance.

I did not care for the male narrator, especially how he did not differentiate with characters. Book was long and I lost interest.

This was EVERYTHING a woman needed. The voices were an awesome representation of the author’s story and message.

I’m struggling to finish this

I’m seriously struggling to get through this book. The male narrator is absolutely awful. I don’t care for the female character. I’ve only listened to 3 hours and there has to be some major character development for me to get through this book. I’ve lost interest and want to return it but I’m not sure I’d get my credit back. I agree with the review that this book is to long. I’ll update if/when I finish it.
