Some people want their two front teeth or a hippopotamus for Christmas.

Not me. That would be too clichéd.

Then again, I never thought I’d stoop to sitting on Santa’s lap and asking him to bring me a boyfriend, either. In my defense, though, the man of my dreams had just knocked me into a store display 10 minutes prior, so I wasn’t exactly thinking straight.

Hah, but when did I ever.

I never thought I’d see Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome again, but it looked like fate - or Santa - had other plans when I ran into him the following night. Seemed like I might be getting my Christmas wish after all, right? Right.

So imagine my surprise when I showed up at my parents’ house for the holidays, only to find out that my sister had asked Santa for the exact same thing I did - and he’d delivered early.

Yep, my sister scored herself a handsome new boyfriend, and he’s absolutely perfect. He’s charming, my parents love him, and even Lucifer the demon cat tolerates him.

Oh, did I mention he also happens to be my dream guy? The one who’s supposed to be under my tree?

Yeah. Merry freakin’ Christmas to me. Someone pass the hot buttered rum.

I love fake dating tropes, and this is fake dating with a twist. This story had all the elements of a heartwarming holiday movie and realistic tension and angst. I would love to see more from this family, and I thoroughly enjoyed this love story.

Really cute story. A short and sweet HEA with a few good laughs. two new to me narrators Wesley Paul and Perry Bishop did a good job with the voices of the characters. I will look for them again. Well worth the credit and your time to listen.

I loved Miles and Aiden so much! This was a cute story and I just loved the two of them together. Not a lot of steam but plenty of fluff. I highly recommend this book!

Is Santa Real?

Miles doesn't think so...his BFF Holly talks him into a photo with her on mall Santa's lap, Santa asks what he wants for Christmas and Holly quickly jumps in telling Santa a boyfriend. Miles denies needing anything but Santa says he'll just have to see what he can do aout finding that someone Miles can spend Christmases with. As Miles walks away, he turns back to see Santa with twin girls on his lap staring at Miles with a twinkle in his eyes and thinks to himself he doesn't believe in Santa Claus but if Santa can deliver the dark haired stranger he bumped into in the mall, he will eat his words about Santa not being real!!

A fun light and entertaining book to listen to or read, going home with Miles and meet his Crazy family, the family's people-hating cat and his sister's new boyfriend !!!
