Publisher's Summary

Heather, a dragon shifter from the Eastern Peaks, is cast away from her kin and seeks refuge among the humans. Unfortunately, she’s stumbled into a world of prejudice and fear. While she at first hates Prince Benjamin for taking her captive, after spending time with him, he takes her heart prisoner, as well as her body.

Benjamin, prince and future king, is shocked to have a beautiful dragoness brought before him. At a loss of what to do with her, he makes a decision that will ultimately both bring them together and then tear them apart.

If their love is to survive, they’ll have to overcome the dangers in the kingdom and learn not only how to forgive, but how to lead.

Could be better..

The narrator did an amazing job.
The author however... could have done better. Seems like a good writer, the story was just a little flat.

Interesting Dragon Shifter

Quick Dragon Shifter listen. Good story. The narrator was great as the prince and when reading the story but as Heather it didn’t work for me.

Had Potentional

I received this audiobook free at my request, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I feel like Olivia Myers has real potential as an author, she just didn't meet it with this particular story. The plotline comes across a bit flat with no real rising action to keep the reader/listener's attention. I think the idea was good, the execution was just a little off. With a bit more intrigue and plot devices, it could have been amazing.

Gareth Richards does a great job with the narration.

Interesting, short but...

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

It was interesting but felt very abrupt and slightly predictable, if you are looking for a short fun book give it a shot, especially if it’s on sale!
Narrator does a good job adding some depth with the voices.

Great view on royalty

It was nice to hear a story that mentioned and featured the hardship of being a prince not just the glamor and high points. The prince was a little whiney at first but eventually grew a backbone. I know it is an odd pet peeve but I hate when the cover looks nothing like the people in the story. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Dragoness Desired By Human King

A short novella of a dragon, Heather, leaving her home so she is not forced into marriage and motherhood when she wants to remain a hunter. Benjamin, who will be king, is human and unsure of his place in world comes across Heather in the woods. He is intrigued and when she is suspected, because she is a dragon, of killing livestock, Benjamin has an excuse to keep her at the castle.
Distrust of the unknown by the kings subjects and a blossoming love.
The story is ok, nothing fantastic and not bad. The narration i’d good with the exception of the women’s voices, too slow and airy..better not to try to change the voice so much.

I received a copy of the audiobook for free for a voluntary and honest review.

Different

I liked the story and concept but I didn't care for the characters. I didn't agree with how they looked at their world but after they met I think they both grew and became likeable. The narrator had a nice voice.

Quick dragon shifter book

This book is a nice easy listen/read. Good level of action and characters that are likeable. Good narration from Gareth.
