Oh the looovvvveeee!!!!

I always am a sucker for a romance novel. Especially if it’s about princesses… Hint hint… Maybe there’s another one? The storyline moved very well… The narration was spot on… It was great...

So cute!

Such a perfect romantic comedy book! Loved all the characters & the plot was cheesy but in the best, premium aged Gruyére kind of way. Really happy I found this last night. Worst panic attack in two years made me need a book such as this.

Irresistible royal romance

Clare Lydon and Harper Bliss create a compulsive read, brought wonderfully to life through Fleur Strange's nuanced performance. In an age of smart phones and social media, you'd think flying under the radar would be impossible, especially for a British lesbian princess about to get married. However, that's just what Charlie (aka Princess Olivia) does. While she's taken a month to absorb her arranged marriage, an improbable romance develops between her and Rosie, a small-town cafe owner in Cornwall. Both women are strong, complex characters whose journey to HEA feels both magical and realistic. Strange moves between posh London accents and regional Cornish dialogue with ease, enhancing the listener's immersion. You just might find yourself with a case of the royal romance bug!

Feels like a Hallmark movie in all the best ways

A fun listen with interesting characters and all the romantic tropes you get in a hallmark movie but with two women in love, which is something I've been looking for for a long while.

Narrator really seemed to be enjoying herself too, which was nice.

Cute!!!

Overall, good book. I enjoyed listening to it and exploring the characters as they went through their trials and tribulations. I felt the chemistry between the main characters and was just elated with them as they found their ways! The narrator was also good as well. She made the story come alive , allowing you to feel some of the emotions conveyed. I;d def recommend it!

Very Good, but wanted more...

With 2 authors like Clare Lydon and Harper Bliss I expected soo much. they've written some amazing books (especially Bliss' "French Kissing" series!!!). Once Upon a Princess was still a very good listen...I just wasn't as happy with it as I had hoped. maybe I'm getting tired of the princess thing? also, the narration was great, but I wished Olivia's voice was a bit sexier...

Just what I wanted

Felt in the mood for some lesbian romance lately and this was just that. Character development and dialogue could have been a little less cliche since the plot was mostly transparent though
