FBI Agent Landon Michaels is looking forward to a weekend of fun and ease with his witchy love, Bay Winchester. Unfortunately for him, relaxation isn't in the cards.

When his boss hands him a cold case from Hemlock Cove before he leaves for an extended weekend, Landon is annoyed. When Thistle Winchester gets a vision from the file, bother turns to intrigue.

If Landon can solve a 20-year-old disappearance, he'll be lauded in his office as more than the guy who is dating the woman who constantly finds trouble. Of course, it's that woman and her feisty family who can help him.

Between ghosts, fights, deep conversations with Marcus, and constant annoyances, Landon has his hands full. And that's on top of Aunt Tillie's new business venture - which she's desperately trying to keep under wraps.

Landon needs Bay to solve a mystery, and her family is along for the ride. Danger might not be prevalent this weekend, but survival is - and old ghosts need to be put to rest.

always a good story from ms Lee...

...but. i understand having a man read these shorts that are from a man's pov, however, this guy doesn't even Try to do a female voice. aris, who grows on you if you slow down the narration but isn't exactly the best out there, does a heckofa better job at men's voices, esp Landon's
..if you're gonna change it up, at least get a narrator who's worth his salt...

Surprising

I read about this narrator as not being so good, but I found him enjoyable and easy on the ears after so many "sharp teenage sounding" ones. No, he didn't attempt voices, but did straight reading with inflection and just the right amount of lightness to make me smile in all the right places. I am looking forward to hearing his voice again.

Interesting departure from the other books.

I liked that this story was told from Landon's point of view and that we have a male voice for the first time.
I think Audible is missing a couple stories in this series? if so, I hope they can fill in the blanks soon. At least one story that was alluded to sounds pretty interesting.

love the shorts, the add to or fill in some of the full stories. narration was a bit drab but ok.
