Story
I woke up five hours late after a reckless one-night stand with the sexiest, cockiest, and most arrogant man I’ve ever met. My top two clients for my PR company left to my number one competitor, my roommate "accidentally" bleached my favorite suit, and my favorite coffee shop was shut down for "health concerns". Still, none of those things dimmed my excitement for what was supposed to be the best four o’clock signing session of my career. Then that sexy, arrogant one-night stand stepped into my office with a familiar smirk and introduced himself as my new, cocky client....

Story
I've hated Rachel Dawson since I was seven years old. My next-door neighbor and number-one sworn enemy - she's the reason why almost all of our childhood fights ended with me setting something of hers on fire. (Or, vice versa.) She snitched on me when I broke curfew. I snitched on her when she lied about having a boyfriend. We went back and forth like this throughout high school, both vowing to never talk to each other again when we went off to college. But that was until she showed up at my apartment during my senior year and asked me for a temporary place to stay.

Please leave your message at the sound of the beep.... Penelope, I know that it’s three o’clock in the morning, but I need to get this off my chest. I can’t give you any more advice on landing this other guy, can’t tell you another “sexy” thing that you should do, or suggest a new set of filthy words that you should text him late at night. As your best friend, I’ve reached my limit, and I can honestly say that he doesn’t deserve you. I’m not saying all of this because I’m f--king jealous, or because he had the audacity to say that he makes more money than me.

My resignation letter was rejected by my boss with his sexy, trademark smirk and an "I highly suggest you read the fine print of your contract...." So, I did. And now I've realized that unless I fake my death, poison him, or find a way to renegotiate my impossible contract, I'm stuck working under one of the cockiest and most ruthless bosses in New York. Then again, I thought that was the case until he called me late last night with an emergency proposition....

Story
Dear Hayley, I'm assuming you're still hungover, so I'll make this brief. Last night, you slipped under my sheets (without my permission), and we almost had sex. I got the hell out of the bed once I realized it was you, and I took you home. That's the story. The end. Period. Just in case you've forgotten, you're my best friend's little sister. We will never be anything more. (We can't be anything more.) Our previous friendship is still unresolved - or "over", in your terms, so I'd prefer if we worked on becoming just friends again since you're in town.

The first night I met Gillian Taylor, she claimed she was a pilot. Then she claimed she worked for a "private airline." I knew right then and there that she was lying to me, and that sexy as hell or not, she was the type of woman I needed to avoid. Still, after a pleasurable one-night stand, I was certain we'd never see each other again. Until I saw her in an airport a few weeks later.... Until I realized that we were both assigned to work the same flight. She was the flight attendant. I was the pilot.

Publisher's summary
We met on a Tuesday.
Became best friends, then lovers, on a Tuesday.
And everything fell apart on a Tuesday....
Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego". (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...and a virgin.
At least those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.
Our future together after graduation was supposed to be set:
Professional football for me. Law school for her.
But she left me at the end of the semester with no explanation, and then she completely disappeared from my life.
Until tonight.
We met on a Tuesday.
Became everything, then nothing, on a Tuesday.
And now it's seven years later, on a Tuesday....
This is a full-length second-chance romance, inspired by Adele's "When We Were Young".

Whitney G! I loved this! College Quarterback and his peer tutor who could care less about his fame. When they are in the spotlight, not being chased seems to peak their interest more than the swooners! I thought it was written really well and had great characters that I could quickly connect with. Loved it!
Narration was fantastic! Erin Mallon is a unicorn! She has a beautiful and unique female voice yet can also do a perfect male narration 2 seconds later?! Both narrators brought their A game and gave life to these amazing characters. Thank you!

Another Win!
Whitney G. is a terrific author - I have been waiting for her next book. If you have not listened to the other books, do so now -- You will not be disappointed. Reasonable Doubt and Turbulence are my favorites. I don't normally like short <5 hour listens but I knew I could trust the author.
I have also been waiting for another narration from Joseph Discher, another good job. Erin is phenomenal as usual.
Enjoyable love story listen that keeps you captivated until the end.

Odd Woman Out
I don’t understand how this has an average score of 4.03 on Goodreads and 4.6 on Audible. It has me flummoxed. Apparently, other readers saw something in it that I just didn’t. Keeping that in mind, you may want to take my review with a grain of salt, since I am the odd woman out and the majority of readers liked this book.
This is one of those stories that I almost quit in the first few chapters, but I persevered, for better or worse. The story starts out with straight up telling and backstory, which made me think that perhaps this was going to be no better than the roughest of rough drafts.
In fact, I almost quit the book, right then and there, because I figured that starting the story in such a way probably meant that the author doesn’t know how to construct a decent story. I was wrong, though. This is an acceptable story, because after that opening pile of steaming backstory and unnecessary telling, this evolved into something mostly readable.
It was clear throughout that the author didn’t do thorough research or have knowledge of all the things discussed and/or mentioned in the story, so there are a lot of discrepancies in the small details. Those will likely fly past some readers, but if you have knowledge on some of the topics, you will see them for what they are---failure of the writer to do 60 or 90 seconds of proper research when adding details to the story. This bothered me, but it may not bother you. Clearly, it did not bother the majority of readers.
Now, despite all these writing and researching issues, the actual story is somewhat readable. You just need to be able to shrug off a lot of randomness and rough transitions and move forward. Not everything makes sense, so don’t expect it to. Threads are introduced and then dropped again without being tied into the story or resolved, so just don’t expect everything that comes up in the story to be of value.
For those who are in this for the romance factor, you may not care about the rough writing. Personally, I have the same standards for romance novels that I do for any novel, so the poor construction bothered me with this one.
Also, the romance definitely lacks angst, desire, and intimacy, so it mostly made me feel flat, bored, and/or uncomfortable. And don’t expect the naked scenes to be better, as they aren’t. They tend to be very abrupt and left me surprised and confounded more than once, and not in a good way. They just arrive out of the blue and then end again, just as fast, and rarely did I understand how any of those scenes were useful to the relationship, the romance, or the story.
I think this story concept could have been good if the execution was better and less abrupt. The character development and growth is minimal, and the plot is mostly non-existent. Side characters are 1D or 2D at best. When a plot thread does appear, it’s pretty random and out of the blue, as if nothing really ties together. Most of the issues are stupid, surface-level drama that has no real depth or teeth. A lot of the issues are simply unbelievable. The transitions between past and present are rough, but the dialogue is decent. Occasionally it is tedious, but it typically moves the story forward, which is the end goal.
To sum this up, this story is not the most cohesive or well-written. I’ve read far worse (unfortunately), but I’ve also read far better (thank goodness). After reading this one, I would not try other stories from this author, because her writing is not my cup of tea.
Read this one if and you like 2nd chance romance stories with multiple POVs and a non-linear timeline (skips back and forth from past to present), and if you don’t really care about writing ability, style, or story construction.

Seriously hated this book!
Whitney, seriously! 42 freaking chapters. I was starting to fall in love with your books but this one has me questioning.. The book started so slow I thought I was going to go crazy. In the middle of ch 11 I started bouncing around chapters trying to figure out wth broke them up. I think that didn't happen until ch 37.. By the time I found it I was no longer interested in the story line. Your 2 to 3 hour books are short and sweet and I hang on every word. But this bullcrap right here.. NEGATIVE! So pissed I wasted my time listening to 10 1/2 chapters.. SMDH

A vivid, delightful and outstanding performance!
Told in dual POV, On a Tuesday is an entertaining second chance romance. A compelling story about two people reconnecting after seven years. Is well-written and expertly developed between past and present without letting the listener lose track of the story.
I really love finding a strong, smart, clever, sweet and feisty female main character like Charlotte. It was just freaking fantastic and refreshing!!
All the characters were just fabulous, but more so was the choice to bring them back to life through the vivid, delightful and outstanding performance of Joseph Discher and Erin Mallon. 5 Brilliant Stars to this amazing duo!!
This story has all the feels, the one thing I didn't like much is that ended to soon/abruptly. However, they do get their HEA!!

Fun, sexy & heartwarming. Great female narrator!
Whitney G.’s books always put me in a good mood. Her trademark seems to be sexiness combined with a healthy amount comedy. I was looking for a quick fun story, and On a Tuesday fit the bill.
Charlotte is super feisty, rather quirky, and very unlucky in love. She’s not easily impressed, and I love how much she values herself. Grayson knows he’s God’s gift to football, and he’s used to having women beg for his attention. Charlotte is an anomaly because she’s the distinct opposite of impressed. I loved their banter. He’s big on selling sexual innuendo, and Charlotte just isn’t buying it. Grayson isn’t some dumb jock, though. He’s actually quite smart and even romantic, despite his initial crude come-ons.
I find that flashbacks can interrupt the flow of the story, but in this case the switches from now to then aren’t jarring, poorly placed, or irrelevant. On a Tuesday hit all the right notes with me. My favorite genre is romance, and this book contains not one, not two, not three, but FOUR of my favorite tropes: romantic comedy, college romance, sports romance, and second chance romance. The story is funny and sexy, but also heartwarming.
I listened to the audiobook. Erin Mallon is one of my absolute favorite narrators. As usual, she doesn’t disappoint. She does make it challenging for the male narrator to match her level of excellence. Joseph Discher does a fine job with his delivery. I only wish his voice was deeper. Altogether it is an enjoyable audio of a really entertaining story.

Seven year failure to communicate. Really?!
My least favorite Whitney G book for four reasons:
1. Plot involves the V card
2. Super slow burn to two measly scenes
3. Male narrator sounds like a middle-aged college professor, not a twenty something football player
4. Two supposedly straight-A college students let miscommunications keep them apart for seven years.
Seven.
Years.
Gah! (Throws reader across room and screams furiously)

Every damn star!!!
EVERY single thing about this audiobook was perfection!! The plotting, the writing, the characters, the chemistry, the emotion, the angst, the narration... just PURE PERFECTION. I've been ugly crying because of those final chapters but it's been a beautiful story and one I know I'll want to re listen to soon.

On a Tuesday
I loved that Charlotte had standards. It might not have been the norm at her age but it truly did weed out the guys that were only in it for one thing.
I liked that even though Grayson was one of those kind of guys when he meets Charlotte something changed. He realized she was worth fighting for.
Sometimes the present and the past got to be a little annoying but I got over it.
The frustration was the ending for me, I didn’t understand how they could have gone without communicating at all they had mutual friends it was just too neat for me. But other than that I enjoyed this story.
Both narrators did a great job. Joseph is a new narrator to me but I think I will have to see what else he has narrated.

Loved it
On a Tuesday is such a sweet yet heart wrenching story of Collette Taylor and Grayson Connors. It is the story of love heartbreak and deceit. Who can you trust in life When other people who are meant to protect you are there to really how do you back.
Colette and Grayson of those a few credit short of time of graduating, in order to gain the credit to get into law school, she takes on Grayson to tutor who is an American football player. She is very reluctant at this because of this and she does not trust him.
Things change after time when they exchange a kiss.
Feelings develop.
Nothing. Seven years later they meet up again, each with the belief the other has been in the wrong.
Can they get over the hurt and listen?
4* #bookstoblog

** Beautiful **
A beautiful second-chance romance, with fabulous narration.
Whitney G. novels are always fantastic; add Erin Mallon to the equation, and you can’t go wrong.
Joseph Discher is a new-to-me narrator, but I thoroughly enjoyed his narration, and look forward to listening to more from him.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Story
The first night I met Gillian Taylor, she claimed she was a pilot. Then she claimed she worked for a "private airline." I knew right then and there that she was lying to me, and that sexy as hell or not, she was the type of woman I needed to avoid. Still, after a pleasurable one-night stand, I was certain we'd never see each other again. Until I saw her in an airport a few weeks later.... Until I realized that we were both assigned to work the same flight. She was the flight attendant. I was the pilot.

Arizona Turner has been my best friend since fourth grade, even when we hated each other. We've been there for one another through first kisses and first times, and we've been each other's constant when good relationships turned bad. (We even went to colleges that were minutes away from each other.) Throughout the years, and despite what anyone says, we've never crossed the line. Never thought about it. Never wanted to...until one night changed everything. At least, it should've....

Story
Being a doctor in New York City has never been easy. Especially for someone like me, who has a private practice and an incompetent staff who insists on leaving me to fill in for them. When my team finally came to their senses and decided to bring someone more competent into the practice last month, I was actually elated. Until I realized that our new "doctor" was none other than the woman I was supposed to meet for dinner two weeks ago. The same woman who stood me up...
