Good suspense and great narrating!!

I really liked it! Good characters and kept you wondering what would happen next! Looking forward to the next book and of course, I love Alex W. as a narrator!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very Entertaining ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I saw this title on catalog plus, and I was glad that I tried, I loved it. I am not into “historical” romances and audiobooks narrated on the third person, I like when the characters talking to the listener. It is a very well written plot with suspense until the last minute. It is not a cliffhanger, but with an opened ending. It is the book 1 of a series of 5 other books where characters had been introduced. That was my first audiobook narrated by Alex Wyndham and his performance was stellar, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼, I loved his accent and easy to understand, even for myself who speaks English as second language. Give this audiobook a try, you might enjoy this story. It is a clean book, without hot spicy scenes. I’ll check the others books of this series as well as more work of Elizabeth Johns, a new author on my list that enjoyed listening very much! Overall, all give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Happy listening!

Unexpected storyline!

I always enjoy books by this author and her series are enjoyable to listen to. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. Overall, the dedication to each other, to overcome the obstacles and make the best out of an unfortunate event.
I love the narrator! Alex does a great job and I feel has the best voice for male characters. He’s a favorite of mine.
This series is worth reading or listening to.

I don’t like how the narrator makes every single woman’s line sound the same - timid and breathy. But I liked the story!
