Alex Wyndham's voice should be used for ALL heroes

What can I say about this narration except SUPERB. I am half in love with the fictional heroes Alex portrays because of his narrations. He has a true gift.
The story was also superbly written and the dialogue was fabulous. The book reminded me of reading my other beloved writer Lucinda Brant's called the "Roxton Family Saga" series. Mother was also French in that book and if I did not know better I'd believe this is one and the same writer. I still enjoyed this book thoroughly even though it almost seemed like it was an extension of that series. LOVED this book. Wish it was longer.

Alex Wyndham & Stella Riley are the perfect pair!

This was my first book by Stella Riley. The story is beautiful and the characters are colorful and intriguing. Alex Wyndham is my new, favorite narrator! He beautifully captures the essence of the period and gives each character their own unique voice, portraying their personalities perfectly. When the story and the narrator are both incredibly well done your audio book can't help but be enthralling and entertaining. This book and narrator are a winning combination!

I must say that I truly loved this book. Beautifully written with exceptional narration by the incomparable Alex Wyndham. The only thing I would have loved, was a bit more heat and perhaps an epilogue. Other than that, it is worth 5 stars.

Amazing book and Amazing Series

I have read hundreds of Regency and Georgian novels, and this series is one of my top 3 or 4 of them. Stella Riley uses predictable tropes in unpredictable ways, and the depth of characterization is wonderful. You become absorbed with these characters and are thrilled that the series provides you another glimpse of them. Read the entire series, but The Parfit Knight and Cadenza are my favorites. Delightful!
