Thich Nhat Hanh
Old Path White Clouds presents the life and teachings of Gautama Buddha. Drawn directly from 24 Pali, Sanskrit, and Chinese sources, and retold by Thich Nhat Hanh in his inimitably beautiful style, this book traces the Buddha's life slowly and gently over the course of 80 years, partly through the eyes of Svasti, the buffalo boy, and partly through the eyes of the Buddha himself. Old Path White Clouds is destined to become a classic of religious literature.

What made the experience of listening to Old Path White Clouds the most enjoyable?
This exquisite book tells the Buddha's life story from birth to death in a well articulated and engaging way. The reader's voice is very pleasant and goes along nicely with the content.Which scene was your favorite?
Chapter 17 - 19 were my favorites as they relay Siddartha's experience of becoming enlightened beneath the pippala tree. I felt deeply connected to the reality of oneness and his experience of truth. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It is a very long book and not ideal for hearing in one sitting. I listened to bits and pieces over several months.Any additional comments?
If you are intrigued or curious about Buddhism this is a great way to explore its history and intentions. Siddartha never sought out to answer the meaning of life or where we came from: he sought out to end suffering. It is philosophy and practice more than religion. The Beginning, Middle & End of Buddha's Journey
