Wonderful Story

What a wonderful, romantic story. The characters are skillfully created and I fell in love with Gwen and Hunter. I could understand the issues that Gwen's family feared, but I was so drawn into the story, I just wanted to sit them down and tell them Gwen was a grown woman and could make her own decisions and handle the consequences, good or bad. This is a very inspirational story and reminds the reader/listener to refrain from making assumptions and judgments about others. A good, clean book just as I always can count on from Ms. Hopkins.

The narration was good and helped to bring the characters to life.

Heartwarming

This was a heartwarming, sweet Christian romance. I enjoyed the family aspect of the story and the way the mother showed her children that everyone deserved a chance. She taught them true Christian values not only through words but through her actions. I would have given the story five stars however I did find there were some spots in the story that dragged and lost my attention however all in all it was a beautiful story. The narration was fairly well done. Unfortunately the narrator didn’t do male voices at all so it was difficult to distinguish between the male and female voices and know who was speaking at times. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily provided this unbiased review.

Christian Contemporary Romance

Christian Contemporary Romance

What a wonderful story of waiting for God's best and His best timing!

I loved how the whole story was about trying to follow God's will, despite the tragedies they all suffered!

The narration wasn't perfect, But it was very good!! The sister's voice was exactly right for her personality!

Enjoyed

After what he had done for her, this really wasn’t enough. She and her son didn’t need the baggage that he has, with being homeless. Though drawn to one another. The universe sees it differently, when they are brought together again. The authors stories are always enjoyable of hope and love. The narration by Jennifer was good and added to the story. Off the Streets

In true Janice Cole Hopkins style she has woven a tale of ruined lives and GOD's forgiveness and redemption. Hunter, a former Special Forces officer ends up on the street by choice because of the death of his twin daughters and subsequent death of his wife. He rescues Gwen who is volunteering at a soup kitchen after the death of her husband from a group of thugs and finds a renewed faith in God and a reason to go on living.

I recommend this one!

Very enjoyable book. While parts of it seemed unrealistic to the way most of us would think, Gwen trusted God. While I agree we should trust Him, it's hard when the world we live in makes skeptics of us. She took the time to befriend Hunter and get to know him while helping him when she could. She felt the Lord guiding her and because she listened, we have a beautiful story to enjoy.

Thankful for an author who can encourage the faith of her readers/listeners with stories like this.

I thought the narrative was well done.
