Excellent story

The pacing was perfect, not to fast not too slow. Amazing world building and original concepts with a base of familiarity. Honestly enjoyed this story so much I was upset to find there wasn’t a second book available yet. Well worth the cost.

It was ok

It wasn’t terrible, although I have never understood the whole Asian names and English accents thing. The mc can be a little annoying but overall not bad.

This will take some time to finish.

The only reason I got this book was because someone said in the reviews that Wisniewski was pretty good in this one. However, I just started and I’m already wanting to stop. I’m sorry but I hate the way his voice gets so low and breathy. Please, for the love of God, talk like a normal person when you narrate.

Anyway, the story is fun and I like it so far. Hopefully I can stick with it, it might take a while though.

Ok, so I’m further in and I’m still really annoyed by the narration. There is a scenario where two guys are talking and they are far enough from each other they should be almost shouting to hear each other, yet they’re still talking in low a breathy tones. I’m just gonna skip as much as I can before I quit altogether.

Such a great book!

I loved everything about the book. Great characters and character building, fun world building and the story was original. The narrator did a great job as always. looking forward to the next book!

Will try next book

You kinda get the vibe that the publisher split book one so I’m hopeful that book two will come out quickly. Nothing crazy new but author has good pacing, writing, and character building. Will try next in series.
