Dear Talia Carver

You are the perfect voice for this series!! Your performance of Egan and Raiden is EXACTLY how I imagined these two in my head. (*Spoiler-ish alert*) When Raiden told Egan “I can help you carry it”, and further along when Egan repeated it back, my heart actually melted. It is my favorite part of the book and you nailed it!!!

I cannot wait to hear the rest of the series. Please record Bound in Fire as soon as you can.

Signed, A forever fan.

Wholesome and stunning performance!

What a beautiful story told by such a wonderful narrator! Not only did McQueen create a wholesome tale of shape shifting into dragons, princes, and LGBT romance, but the narrator brought the entire story to life with his beautiful narration of Raiden and Egan!

Worth every wholesome second!

Delightful YA queer dragon romance

Story: really enjoyed this queer fantasy romance! with DRAGONS! the beginning was a bit slow, but once we meet Egan and get their dorky, awkward flirting I am in love!

narrator: the narrator did a great job of putting emotion into their voices! I really felt their grief, anger, and confusion come out clearly. some of the voices felt a bit inconsistent at times, but overall this was well done, and I would listen to this narrator again.

highly recommend this series!!

Raiden and Egan

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. This is the 1st book in this series and we find out about Egan and Raiden. Egan is a blacksmith’s apprentice with a secret—he is a dragon shifter in a world where dragons aren’t believed in. Raiden is the 1st born and crown prince of his kingdom, survives an unexpected attack by a rival kingdom. They strike up a quick friendship, and I love how sweet and caring they were for the other. Egan gives Raiden a sense of normalcy. Can't wait for the next book. Great story of love and loyalty. I thought Talia Carver did an excellent job narrating this story.

Incredible Series Start

I was legitimately sad that I didn't have the next in the series ready to go. I was just that engrossed in Raiden and Egan's story. The story was wonderfully narrated by new to me narrator Talia Carver. Highly recommended.

Dragon shifters and a kingdom to rule

This takes several of the standard fairy tale tropes - dragons, princes who must assume the throne unexpectedly and that blacksmith who always has secret abilities just waiting to be discovered - mixes them with shifters, an m/m romance and humor to produce a wonderful, light read. This is a new author for me and I just love the sweet, no angst plot and two main characters who are clearly meant to be together. I have been discovering some great new narrators lately and this is one of them. I thought all the emotions were right there grabbing me and pulling me into the story as was the humor.

Just wow!!

Story:
I absolutely love Of Heart and Wings. I’m not sure what I love most about it, was is it the dragon or the young love? I know the story kept me spellbound, through the entire book. I know I already own the entire series in ebook and I’m so looking forward to the ability to read it, and once again slip into this world.

Narrator:
Talia Carver is amazing! Her voice kept me enthralled throughout the entire listening experience. I know that I will enjoy listening to each these stories. Her ability to distinguish each character is superb.

Absolutely perfect!

Wow, I am just amazed by how much I enjoyed Egan and Raiden brought to life. The voice fit perfectly and being able to visualize this book while someone else narrated it was just the icing on the cake!

I'm not a huge audiobook fan but there's just something about listening to such a wonderful story that just adds a depth of emotions reading it alone just can't bring.

Absolutely beautiful!

Thank you so much Debbie McQueen for giving me the opportunity to review this beautiful book!!!
I listened to this on Audible narrated by Talia Carver, and it was absolutely perfect 💜 the voices were so perfect, and I loved this story so much!
Raiden is the prince of the Sixth Realm, next in line for his father’s crown. King Rodik is a fair and just king who loves his people, and Raiden strives to take after him. He’s trying his best to balance responsibility with the rest of his life.
Egan is a blacksmith’s assistant, working for his awful stepfather. He also has a huge secret that he must hide from the realm…but when he since a man’s life at risk, he jumps to save him and his secret is revealed. And the man happens to be the prince. Instead of being horrified, Prince Raiden is in awe and completely intrigued!
After the King is attacked, the Sixth knows a battle is eminent. And Prince Raiden must do what he can to support his kingdom.
This book was beautiful! Seeing Raiden discover that the world is bigger than he thought, seeing Egan have experiences he never thought he would, watching them grow closer and start falling for each other. The building of their relationship is so lovely, and the king’s meddling is both sweet and hilarious! This is such a magical and fascinating world to be in and I can’t wait to see where this story goes 💙
