Good introduction to runes

First off, I loved the narrator’s voice – she made listening to this audiobook a delightful experience. The section that I found really interesting was the distinction between divination and fortune-telling. I like knowing that runes divination is only there to offer guidance and help me look at things from a different perspective, rather than the pursuit of fortune-telling. By being able to see things from different perspectives (seeing beyond what is evident to my mind and senses), I can then decide on a course of action for myself. Intriguing folklore

The topic of this audiobook is quite rare! Very well put together information on rune magic and how it can be applied to everyday life. I like how the narrator guides you through the secrets of Norse rune magic. It's cool to learn about the history of this culture and how it has transformed over the years. Great book!

Captivating and informative

Not long ago, I listened to a book about Wicca, which was eye-opening as it was my first time hearing about topic. I've always been interested in spiritual guide, which led me to this book. After listening to this book, I not only found the history of runes interesting and the runic practice enticing, I also learned how to create my own runes and how to interpret them. The book is well-laid out. It's good for beginners who want to expand their spiritual guidance.

Very interesting!

First off I loved the narrator of this book. Great pace and clear words in a voice that didn't become annoying after hours of listening. I think it helped that you can feel the author's passion for this subject come out in the layout of the book and the way all of the information was organized. I've never thought of this as a subject I could get into, but by the second chapter, I was hooked. Maybe there is something to Runes after all. I really enjoyed the free PDF that accompanied the book as well. That really brought everything together because I was able to follow along with what was being said and look at examples (a rare find for an audiobook!) This was a worthwhile purchase and I think it was money well spent to learn about something so fascinating!
