Good premise

I like the story but the spicy parts were so incredibly repetitive and long for no reason. It was at a point that I almost felt bad for the main female character. It got boring. I decided to fast forward through those parts after a while. I really do like the story besides that.

Girl this one was good if you ever read this review!!!! You proved your self as writer, bc this one was very different from your other books, your other books are look key freaky as hell, but this one no xxx, just you bringing all the drama lol, but over all I liked the book.

Good Listen

I enjoyed it however Lucas was a POS. I hope Emily gets a better story with Sebastian.

Surprised

I was surprised at how good this book is. The title, in my opinion, is off-putting. The synopsis drew me in and the fact it was free. I would not have paid for the book due to title.

Of course, the virtual voice is monotonous. Can only say better than nothing in terms of audio.

The ending was quite unbelievable. Probably will not get any other books in series.

The Abuse

I'm 2 hours into this audiobook and I think Emily is a doormat. There have been 2 sexual assaults by Lucas when she gets aroused before she finally makes him stop. He is abusive and a narcissist and she just takes it. Lucas is pretty stupid, never realizing that Amelia is manipulating him. So far, we haven't met the "Hero" with 5 hours to go.
Advice to the Author: Stop trying to make sexual assaults something other than what it is. Stop making your "heroine" so unlikable. And now ... Lucas gives her a job as his secretary. He's a jerk, she's a sap, and Amelia is a bitch. The only decent character is the friend, Jeremy. Thank goodness I only wasted $1.99 on this audiobook because it's a throwaway.
