Publisher's Summary

New York Times best seller Allison Brennan's latest audiobook featuring FBI Agent Lucy Kincaid finds her on the trail of a serial killer.

With a background in psychology, FBI Agent Lucy Kincaid is good at getting into the heads of killers and victims both. Still, her latest case is leaving her stumped. A third body has turned up in San Antonio - and it bears the same unique and troubling MO as the first two. The killer is clearly trying to send a message. But what is it - and to whom? All roads keep leading Lucy down a dead end....

The victims are all married men who led honest lives alongside their adoring wives but have nothing else in common. When Lucy catches each widow in a lie, she realizes that things are not at all as they seem. What begins as a seemingly straightforward investigation turns into something far darker and more sinister than Lucy could have ever imagined. Can she solve this case before more lives are lost...including her own husband?

“If you haven’t been reading this truly exceptional Lucy Kincaid series, then you have been missing out...mind-blowing.” (RT Book Reviews)

Atrocious Narrator

Ann Marie Lee's narration would get a negative 10 million stars if that option was available. Her narration is overly dramatic and breathy and she continues to sound like a grandmother instead of a late 20's southern Californian. My enjoyment of the Lucy Kinkade series has appreciably declined since Ann Marie Lee has so incompetently taken over the narration.

As for the 2 story lines - both were kind of meh for me. Maybe because we didn't get enough Lucy and Sean interaction for me.

Another Winner

Allison Brennen is a magician with a pen.. Please keep this series coming. This was yet another wonderful read with some good twists and turns a little family values and that beautiful love story. Ms Lee does an excellent job bringing these characters to life. I can't wait for the next one. P/S would love to see more books on other Organ/Kincaid family members.
