Publisher's summary

Pebble Cove’s most infamous house is about to get a makeover, but can changing the outside get rid of the curse held within its walls?

High up in the cliffs behind the town of Pebble Cove, a haunted house looks out over the ocean. When the cursed house sells after sitting vacant for decades, the locals are concerned. Horrible things happened there. The buyers, triplet brothers famous for their house-flipping television show, are dismissive of the town’s warnings. When history repeats itself and one of them dies, who’s to blame?

Hired to cater for the crew, Rosemary is first on-site to find the grisly scene. Her instincts tell her that there’s more to this murder than meets the eye, and along with her ghostly friends, she’s the only one who can uncover the truth.

A great listen

An excellent addition to the Pebble Cove Teahouse series. Eryn Scott is one of my favorite authors and I love her three cozy mystery series.

There has been a murder at a house that the locals think is cursed and haunted. The victim is one of three triplet brothers who have their own home rehab show. It was staged to try to fool people into thinking he died because of the curse, but it quickly becomes apparent that he was murdered and there are a number of suspects.

The case was really interesting as it unfolded. I didn't want to put the book down as I tried to work out whodunnit alongside Rosemary. I also thought it was nicely intertwined with the overarching series mystery of what exactly happened to Asher. I love him and Rosemary together and can't wait to see what is in store for them next!

Love this series

This book did no disappoint! I love Asher's story intermingled with her sleuthing. I didn't expect this outcome of turn of events. So exciting and fun to travel along with the story.

Entertaining cozy mystery

I enjoy my visits to Pebble Cove and Not By Oolong Shot was a good addition to one of my favourite cozy mystery series. I love stories about small towns, add in mystery and a ghost and this book ticked the boxes for me.

Rosemary Woodmere is once again front and centre in murder and mystery. As she investigates, much to the annoyance of the Sheriff, she also continues to investigate the circumstances of her ghost Asher’s death. Could she finally have solved it?

There were a number of twists and turns and I found myself surprised on occasion whilst listening to this entertaining cozy mystery. Jennifer Jill Araya did a great job bringing this story to life and made this an entertaining listen; her voice is pleasant and easy to listen to.

Ugh, Rosemary is becoming an idiot

The story was really good but, omg, Rosemary is an idiot! She keeps jumping to random conclusions and acting like she has no common sense!
