Glenn Beck, the New York Times bestselling author of The Great Reset, tackles some of our country’s biggest problems in this funny, outrageous, and entertaining book.

Glenn Beck believes that the reason why some of our biggest problems never seem to get fixed is simple: the solutions just aren’t very convenient. And as the host of a nationally syndicated radio show and a prime-time television show on CNN Headline News, Glenn Beck doesn’t care much about convenience; he cares about common sense.

Take the issue of poverty, for example. Over the last forty years, America’s poorest cities all had one simple thing in common, but politicians will never reveal what that is (or explain how easy it would be to change). Global warming is another issue that’s rife with lies and distortion. How many times have we heard that carbon dioxide is responsible for huge natural disasters that have killed millions of people? The truth is, it’s actually the other way around: as CO2 has increased, deaths from extreme weather have decreased. But that would never be shown in an Al Gore slide show.

Combining honesty with a biting sense of humor, An Inconvenient Book contains hundreds of these "why have I never heard that before?" types of facts that will leave readers wondering how political correctness, special interests, and outright stupidity have gotten us so far away from the common sense solutions this country was built on.©2007 Mercury Radio Arts, Inc; (P)2007 Simon and Schuster Inc.

This is the first book I have gotten by Glen Beck. I thought it was a little funny but there was no more info in this book that I don't get listening to him on the radio and tv. I did not like his graphic account of a childs kidnaping/death. It was compleatly unnessasary.
The reading was good and clear and he moved quickly through the stories and I kept my attention but as the book moved along I got more and more disapointed that the content was not more interesting.

Not what I expected

I bought the hard back as soon as it came out and enjoyed it immensely. However, because Glenn Beck is so descriptive when he speaks, I decided to buy the audio version. Not only is he hilarious, he is 'right on' with his views of the world. I enjoy listening to him as I take my daily walks.

Love the audio version

Beck is a weirdo. Sometimes he makes sence but sometimes he's way off. In this book he makes sence he tells it like it is. I gotta hand it to him he's his own man. I think eighty percent of America would disagree with this book. But his thought process is entertaining as heck..

Beck is funny

Great factoids, but the book is probably a better read then a listen. Glen reads the book as if he were on his radio show, and so the book is best listenned to in several sessions, rather then emersing yourself in it for long periods of time. Glen wearies the ear after awile. Also some of the facts you might want to write down, and that is difficult with an audio book. I recommend reading it rather then listenning to it.

Eye opening facts

Glen Beck knows how to hold your interest with the truth and his good humor. It is a book that could be read and reread
