one of the best devotionals I've ever read.

This is one of the best devotionals I have ever read! I loved the different perspectives on stories I've read 100 times.

Making his point clearly

Format and ease of listening were good. Really liked points to ponder at the end each chapter.

Step by step getting closer to Jesus

It was a breath of fresh air I really enjoyed it. It is a reminder for everyone that they all matter to Jesus big or small. Jesus saved my life he can save yours just keep your heart open

busy mom still gets to read

Having a friend with CP who loves Jesus this book was especially intriguing to me. She, her mother and I hope to share this study with others in our church/community this fall. Audible is a nice way to keep up with my reading/ studies.

Relatable Devotional & Excellent Narration

This devotional is not some fancy cerebral read. The author really makes the Bible come alive with engaging and very relatable for this average person. I'll be honest I have not read the Bible in a loooong time. This devotional really made the stores come alive and makes me want to dig back into it again. I've never really seen it approached in this way before and I love it. I love how the author notes a few different ways to use this devotional, I thought that was a nice touch, especially if you are new to them. The narrator made me feel as if he was sitting right next to me reading the story to just me.

Awesome and Relatable!

I enjoyed all of it. Truthfully, I listened to most of it in one sitting, but it has plenty of thoughtful devotions to go back and listen again. Michael is a gifted writer and I hope this is the first of many books he will author.

Michael Murray is a gifted communicator. He brings these Bible stories to life in a way that we can all relate to. His communication style is friendly and gracious. He works modern issues into these stories seamlessly. It is only well into the book the reader learns of Michael's disability, to which he refers a few times. But the book is not about disability, it's about taking a fresh look at some familiar stories. I highly recommend that you listen to or read this book for a very entertaining and inspiring view of scripture. You're in for a treat!
