Publisher's Summary

The basis for Killing Eve, now a major BBC TV series, starring Sandra Oh and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge

In a hotel room in Venice, where she's just completed a routine assassination, Villanelle receives a late-night call.

Eve Polastri has discovered that a senior MI5 officer is in the pay of the Twelve and is about to debrief him. As Eve interrogates her subject, desperately trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together, Villanelle moves in for the kill.

The duel between the two women intensifies, as does their mutual obsession, and when the action moves from the high passes of the Tyrol to the heart of Russia, Eve finally begins to unwrap the enigma of her adversary's true identity.

Codename Villanelle, the first of the Killing Eve series, is out now!

You can’t help loving the psychopath!

Great story, very well narrated. Spies, assassins, treachery, and exploding Nazi stereotypes makes for an exciting and laugh out loud listen

Fun and Sexy. Roll on Part 3

I came to Killing Eve from.the TV mini-series and have loved both original books. clearly the TV has cherry-picked from the books but the books are better in my opinion. keeping Eve British works better and the on-going relationship between Eve and V makes more sense in the books.

it's not high literature but it greats for a dull morning commute and is perfectly narrated. Sexy, sensual and littered with bodies and creative assinations it's a perfect escape from a dull drive.

one thing the TV did get right is the actress cast as V she is a perfect fit.

Roll on Part 3!

Enjoyable enhancement of the TV series

Having enjoyed the TV series I was keen to hear the book ( not something I usually do) . This book certainly did not disappoint. The story did not strictly follow the tv script , which made it even better to listen to. It added a new depth to an already good story and gave both muck more meaning. The reader also improved the experience.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the TV series
