So glad I used a credit on this one bc it was perfection! Duet narration AND multiple accents? Say less. And now I will have to figure out what to do with myself until book 2 comes out 😭

⭐️ Loved This — So Atmospheric ⭐️

This book completely pulled me in. The atmosphere was rich and immersive, the kind of story that makes you want to stay in its world just a little longer. The love story was everything I wanted — full of yearning, great banter, and that slow-burn tension done just right.

I adored the university setting and the grumpy MMC who turned out to be a total secret golden retriever underneath it all. It struck the perfect balance between angst, warmth, and charm.

Definitely one I’ll be rereading. 💛

Fantastic male yearning

“She looks like her shakespearean namesake”. Oh my goodness that line broke my heart. Alex’s chapters hurt my heart in the best way. You have to read this!

Had me with Rugby

I hit play because a friend told me there was a rugby player. I loved the banter and the mystery/thriller aspect that was happening in the dark romance. I do think this is a book that you need to listen to and not read because there are some parts that felt a little drawn out that only the narrators were able to keep the cadence of the story going.

Good But Needs Better Editing

Loved this book and the narrators did a great job! However, there were lines missing, whole paragraphs skipped were messed up and parts were not in the correct order. It made it hard to follow along with the book.

Okay, the narration? Fantastic! One of the best I’ve ever listened to. The story? Fantastic! 5 stars for the author and the narrators. The editing? It needs a bit of work… hope the next book is better. Lots of repeated sentences and jumbled paragraphs
