Publisher's summary

An international crisis looms and special ops team Old Dog Zero One must avert a full-scale war.

In this sequel to Flight of the Old Dog, it's discovered one of the team's own is alive. Presumed dead in Siberia, the airman has come out of a coma only to face the death penalty for crimes against the Soviet state. Captured and brainwashed by the KGB, the American airman reveals military secrets to the Soviets that could rejoin the shattered factions of the Soviet Union.

Now the assault team must reunite and launch a rescue mission to save their buddy. Complicating matters is a Lithuanian uprising and an invasion from neighboring Belarus. The team finds themselves caught up in the larger crisis and distracted by a rebellious Soviet soldier who organizes Lithuania's first army—but the men of the Old Dog have plans of their own.

Now that’s what I am talking about!

Dale Brown is the Man. I love his books. The Mc Clanahan series is his favorite books for me. Flight of the old dog is my number 1 and in a very close 2nd Tin Man.

not Dale's best work. horrible reading of this!!

Sadly this book did not measure up to being as good as The Flight of the Old Dog. It's a it's a fair story, but the narration was almost unbearable.

Great story, poor oration.

Sound was not clear and voices excessively gravelly which detracted from a great story. Would like to hear it again with better narration.

No chapters

There were no chapters dividing up the book.
I listen mostly at night and always use the
“end of chapter” as my stopping point.

Good Book

The story was great but the different voices used to identify the different characters was not. The southern draws and nasally voices diminished the enjoyable experience.

Great book

Dale Brown books are great. His imagination and experience in the USAF gives him great credit. I highly recommend his books.

Good story with very poor narration

I’ve only finished one Dale Brown book and the narrator was excellent. I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish this one. Attempts to perform various accents is a just awful.

Terrible audio quality on multiple devices.

Is almost indecipherable in places. Multiple downloads don't help. I often enjoy Dale Brown, but not this title from Audible. Advise skipping this.
