Publisher's summary

A peaceful Minnesota town, where crime is something that just doesn't happen, is about to face its worst nightmare. A young boy disappears. There are no witnesses, no clues - only a note, cleverly taunting, casually cruel. Has a cold-blooded kidnapper struck? Or is this a reawakening of a long-quiet serial killer?

A tough-minded investigator on her first make-or-break case....A local cop who fears that big city evils have come to stalk his small town home....Together they are hunting for a madman who knows no bounds, to protect a town that may never feel safe again.

Right to the last minute

Loved the book Tami Hoag always keeps me guessing. Although a little long, I will revisit again someday.
Joyce Bean is a wonderful narrator.

creepy good read!

Where does Night Sins rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

top 15

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

yes, i was so scared of the outcome

Have you listened to any of Joyce Bean’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

YES!!! one of my favorite readers of Audible books. With her delivery you feel like you were there.

Any additional comments?

i enjoyed the book but I couldn't understand how Mitch could be the Chief yet did not have an open mind when it came to the crime. He told Megan he had been through that type of crime three times yet he refused to look at an other angles. I felt he was more concerened about his relationship and less about the crime. I gave this a high star rating because the reader and overall story line was worth it.

Great story! Narration, not so much

The book has a great story that makes it hard to put down! I like to follow along sometimes and it was impossible to do so! Paragraphs of descriptions and feelings were completely skipped!! I had to delete it and read only!! Frustrating!!!

I’m a fan of Tami Hoag, but…

This was really a disappointment, a story that didn’t hang together, seemed incomplete. Too many story lines left hanging. Personally I love reoccurring characters but this an unfinished book, you shouldn’t have to look for her next book to complete this story line.
