Night Fall: Booktrack Edition - A John Corey Novel, Book 3 adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!*

Booktrack editions are essentially a new genre of digital storytelling entertainment. Music and ambient audio are added to complement and enhance the audiobook experience. It is a synchronized movie-style soundtrack that complements the narration of existing audiobooks; the tempo and rhythm of the score harmonize with action, dialogue, and the characters' emotional arcs.

It is dusk on July 17, 1996. A man and a woman who are married - but not to each other - make love on a Long Island beach as a video camera records their pleasure...and something more. Out over the ocean, TWA Flight 800 suddenly explodes with 230 victims on board, the terrible blast illuminating the sky. The government's verdict is mechanical failure. But the videotape may tell another story - if it can be found.

Now, on the fifth anniversary of the crash, two members of the Federal Anti-Terrorist Task Force set out to reopen the case: John Corey, an ex-NYPD detective, and his wife, Kate Mayfield, a career FBI agent. Together, they hunt for the crucial video...and race toward an elusive truth even more horrifying than the crash itself.

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

Missing last 8 chapters! Incomplete audiobook.

This recording just stops abruptly towards the end of chart 46. The book should have 54 chapters. I heard the i- tunes version does the same, so the error is the audii publishers. I'm asking for a refund.

Where's the ending?

Enjoyed the story but was disappointed in ending, unless it was setting you up for another book continuing the story line.

Riveting

Loved this book. A compelling listen. Once started hard to stop. The humor used during the serious subject matter was artfully placed. I am a huge fan of the John Corey series.

Having said that, it was a little disconcerting to listen with a soundtrack. Personally I would prefer without one.

Annoying background soundtrack!

What disappointed you about Night Fall?

Annoying background soundtrack! The story and the readers performance where as expected. However there was a very annoying and constant background soundtrack that I found to be An unnecessary Distraction.

Would you ever listen to anything by Nelson DeMille again?

Yes! As I said I have no problem with this author.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Scott Brick?

No one.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Night Fall?

None. I would edit out the odd music car sounds etc.
