A Surprise Twist of Guardian!

I cannot get enough of this series on Audible! Michael Dean keeps bringing each new character as much to life as the next! His voices enhance this adventure! I do not want to say too much about this book as to spoil all the new mysteries that unravel and secrets that are revealed! We do definitely learn how important their love and bond to each other is in the strength and success of the Chosen One prophesy. I am very pleased with who their latest Guardian is! Already listening to book Four!

Love this series!!!

I am absolutely loving this series. I love Sawyer and all of his mates. They are each unique and perfect for each other. This book has more trials for the men to deal with, but their bonds to each other grow as a result. I really want to know who the other mate is and where the storyline is going!

A new guardian

The arrival of the Fae prince causes issues that Sawyer needs to address to satisfy his mates. The third audio of The Chosen One had its grip on me and it was so hard not to spend all day listening. The plot thickens and secrets are revealed as Sawyer and his Guardians flee to the Fae world. Danger lurks even there, and a new guardian is revealed. It is at the end of the book that light is shed on what the mission really is and Sawyer’s part to play. Need to move to the next story…it’s calling me!

Wow!

This series is definitely getting better and better the further we get in it! I'm sitting on pins and needles so excited to find out what has been going on and if they can put everything to rights.

Of course Michael Dean's performance is once again spectacular and the voices that he gives each character really bring the to life and makes the feel Real!
This is a definite must listen and I highly recommend it

And the plot thickens!

Just when I thought we'd get another story where Sawyer gets another mate, maybe a little danger and maybe another piece of the mystery falls in to place. But holy plot twist, we get a whole lot more! Yep, the series gets better with each book.
I sound like a broken record- Michael Dean is great for this book/series. Highly recommend!

This series is so fun. I continue to love each individual character and how they mesh with each other. Plus, it’s narrated by Michael Dean, which is always flawless.

Fascinating Series! Outstanding Story & Listen🎧

Macy Blake continues to wow me with another amazing story set in her “The Chosen One” series, this book picks up where the last book, “Nothing Ventured” left off, which like all the earlier books in the series are just as amazing as this and not to be missed. The character development and world building is phenomenal and continual throughout the series. Each book in the series has been introducing new characters into the mix, including guardians for the “Chosen One”, since eight is a magic number in their world they are thinking there will be eight, as of now there are four, a dragon, a vampire, a mage and a hippocamp, and in this book a new guardian is introduced from the Fae realm. There are some mind-blowing twists and turns in this book, which is changing the direction of the story and how it is playing out, I won’t say much about it other than wow and that I did not see that one coming. But I will say I am certainly glad about Locke. I am loving the character growth and development of Sawyer and his crew, also loving each of the guardians, Draco, Henry, Andvari, Eduard and Saeward, each cute and/or swoon-worthy in their own way. There are some great support characters too, though I am wondering if all are as true as they seem, I have suspicions and I am hoping I am wrong. The author is doing a great job keeping everyone on their toes wondering who is targeting the chosen one and a big revelation is coming, so hold on tight. There are many layers to this cleverly plotted story, and it contains the perfect balance of drama, some action, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions, and some steamy romance. Macy Blake, thank you for another great story and wild ride, I am looking forward to what comes next for the amazing characters.

His character voices have been consistent and the quality of the audio has been superb. He has a complete understanding of the characters he portrays and sounds believable in every role he plays. He sets the perfect tone for the story, grasps all the character’s emotions and projects them into his performance. This entertaining storyteller and versatile voice artist is a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

OMG 😱 a twist in the tale I did not see coming!!!

Seriously if you have not started reading and/or listening to this series you need to!!! It just keeps getting better and better.

I thought I had it all figured out... In fact the review I did on the last book made a comment to that effect.

Two more guardians left to find, can't wait to see what happens next!!!

Twists

The twists in this book were great. The whole fae realm was really interesting to see. The faes operate different from Earth and it was fascinating to see.
