Actual laugh out loud moments with the awww

I read one other Robin Alexander book which I found hilarious and wondered if this one would be as good. It really is. Ok, so with the slightly heavy basic topic of the book (breakup, cheating, dating again), one wouldn't think that would be a laugh out loud book. But really is. Ryan's sister had me laughing almost from the moment she appears in the book. Ryan on a high from energy drinks also was a big highlight. Payton's instant attraction to Ryan is so sweet it causes all the warm squishy feelings . Oh, almost forgot the girlfriend who spoke in cartoon voices, predominantly a squirrel. Need I say more? Lol

Loved it!

I really enjoyed the story line. Several times I found myself laughing out loud!! Lori Prince was great as always with her many characters!!

Funny and heartwarming

Robin Alexander! You are my all time favorite author. I am so glad that I’ve discovered you. You deliver it all as a writer. And you are so funny and thought provoking. You bring a big part of the reality of this life into your worlds. Every book that you write has literal laugh out loud moments filled with quotable dialogue from such real feeling people. It’s always clear what you are wanting to covey to the reader. That’s not always the case when people tell a story. The character development is outstanding. You can take the reader from disgust of an individual to a point of maybe thinking just a little bit different about them. I love a story that can move your emotions around. You do it every time! Thanks Robin! Keep them coming. And Lori Prince knocked it out of the park as usual. Keep doing it Lori.

Great story

Robin Alexander is hilarious! This book has a great love story and also gets to the core of what lasting relationships are composed of. Great characters and performance.

Refreshing storyline

Such a great love story that doesn’t have the couple declaring their love within the first week. Beautiful story. Lovable characters. Crazy family. Fantastic book!

Wow

Once in a while, there comes a book were you want to read it all over again as soon as it’s finished. This is such a book! I find myself in awe with Robin Alexander every time I finish one of her books. She never lets me down with her stories, her humor and the passion she displays in every character!
And Lori Prince, we’ll, she is just wow!!! Not only how she brings each character to life with her voice but nails every personality, joke, tears and every incident as if I’m watching the whole thing live!!! The writer and Narrator make an amazing pair. and how in the future this pairing continues!!!

Excellent!

Sweet, romantic, funny, adorable, real characters. I'm in love with this authors books. The characters are always real, you know? And the side characters really make the books better. This one was no exception.

So many times I let out a laugh. Also very real and heartwarming, totally waiting for a love like that.

The wait was worth it!!

I was so eager to see “Next Time” get made into an audiobook. Ever since I read the print version I just knew this was one of Robin’s books that would translate seamlessly and hilariously to audio. When I saw it was in the works and that LORI PRINCE was narrating, I was, to say the least, ecstatic. I have never clicked the “Buy With Credit” button faster than I did this morning lol. And yes, I listened to the whole book in one day.

All I have to say is: I was SO RIGHT. I loved it. There were times where I had actual tears in my eyes from laughing so hard I could barely breathe; times where I clutched my chest and let out an audible “awww” despite other people in the room giving me strange looks; and times I yelled at characters even though I knew exactly what was coming because silly me had already read the darn book. This was undoubtedly the best use of one of my credits in a long time. Lori + Robin still equals a match made in heaven!!
