There are a lot of different ways to learn a language—studying books, taking a class, or even watching foreign movies. But I’m an auditory learner. I have to hear and repeat the language to make it stick. When I was a teenager taking French classes, I would often make my own (cassette) recordings and study for my tests by listening to them. All learning methods are valid! But there is only one you can so anytime and anywhere. And that’s what you’ll experience with this audiobook. It is so easy to understand and follow.
I have learned lots of book French years ago but this was the best and easiest approach to help me reconnect. I think a real beginner would not find it as easy as I did. I would like to know about the workbook that was to accompany the audible. How can I get it??

Very useful as an addition to usual couses
Very practical. great addition to my studies at french couses to get useful structures memorized and usable. Easy to follow, well read. I'm very demanding and not often put 5 stars but this book and its predecessor is indeed excellent. I wish there was a continuation for it, but cant find it on audible.

Very nice course
Another great repetition based course from Paul Noble. only criticism is more focus on spelling would have been nice. But otherwise a great, easy going course.

Was sad when it ended
Paul Noble does an outstanding job of helping you learn French. His techniques, his practice, the repetition is hugely helpful. The only thing I’m sad about is that there is no “and further steps” after this. I’ve listen to all of his books on French, and he’s literally the best out there.

This is an excellent learning tool.
There is no story, but I gave that part of the review 5 stars. Why? Because Paul is so good at building layers of useful dialogue to learn French. Coupled with his style of repetition, and his explanation of confusing concepts, I find this my favorite tool so far for learning french!
